Is being Hindu a crime? Nambi Narayanan smashes Anupama Chopra left, right and center!

Nambi Narayanan

Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein fame Ranganathan Madhavan made his directorial debut with Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, based on the life and hardships of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan. And as expected, the movie became a soft target of the left-liberal cabal, not for its direction, dialogue writing or cinematography. But for portraying the rocket scientist who he is, a patriot and a Hindu. Now, scientist Nambi Narayanan has an epic reply for the ‘liberals’.

Is being Hindu a crime? Asks Nambi Narayanan

A video is doing rounds on the internet, in which, former ISRO scientist can be seen expressing his views, ferociously. Nambi Narayanan has reacted to the criticism of his biopic, for portraying the character as a Hindu, asking if it is a sin to be a Hindu.

Responding to the criticism around being portrayed as a Hindu and patriot, Nambi Narayanan said, “Is it a sin to be Hindu? Is it a sin to be Brahmin? If there is a Brahmin fellow, will you just cut him short. There are so many Brahmins, who have given their lives for this country. Not just one. I can give you a list. So the point I am making is we are unnecessarily colouring the issue.”

Narayanan smashes the self acclaimed film critics

Taking a jibe, with a little smile on his face, Narayanan recalls that somebody had written a review saying that Nambi Narayanan is shown as a Hindu. “Nambi Narayanan is doing some Utsavam, reciting Suprabhatam. He is a Brahmin. He is a Hindu. Hindutva is being shown.”

Nambi Narayanan, then in the video made an argument that can be termed as the simplest argument in the world, that is ‘he is a Hindu and thus, the movie showed him as a Hindu.’ However, the intelligent self-acclaimed critics fail to understand the same.

How liberal agenda was peddled in the name of movie review?

Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect received positive responses, not only from the reviews but also from the audiences. Reports suggest that due to the positive word of mouth, the film will garner at least 40 crore at the theatres. Despite this number, the film stands at 9.3 rating on IMDB. To add on the success, Rocketry has become the first Indian film to reach a historical number of 10,000 NFTs claimed.

Still, the movie didn’t go down well with the alleged reviewers of the Bollywood. One such name is Film Companion owner Anupama Chopra. Chopra had criticised the film for constantly underlining Narayanan’s patriotism and pointing towards his religion; the Hindu Dharma. Chopra was quoted, “Our first visual of Narayanan is in the puja room at his home. At crucial moments, he prays. Narayanan is a true-blue patriot.”

Anupama Chopra is guilty of many sins

This is not the first time that Anupama Chopra and her Film Companion have stirred up controversy. Earlier, she was slammed by Yami Gautam for unnecessarily targeting her and passing unnecessary remarks on her films.

Chopra is also guilty of blatantly denying that genocide of Hindus never happened in Kashmir. Chopra called Vivek Agnihotri’s  The Kashmir Files, a bad attempt at propaganda and a “revisionist drama that reimagined the exodus as a full scale genocide-where every Hindu is a tragic Jew, every Muslim is a murderous Nazi.”

Earlier she had also attempted to peddle her agenda while interviewing Vicky Kaushal on the release of Uri: The Surgical Strike. She tried to coerce Kaushal into bashing the film for patriotism through her subtle attacks.
