Former Indian actor, producer, and businessman, Sachin Joshi is well-known for his roles in Tollywood and Bollywood. He is also known as the son of Jagdish Joshi, owner of the JMJ group of industries. Where is Sachin Joshi now?
Sachin Joshi was detained by the Indian Enforcement Directorate in February 2021 on suspicion of money laundering. Over the course of the following inquiry, Indian tax authorities searched many locations connected to Joshi and his father for six days and uncovered unreported transactions totaling about Rs. 1,500 crores.
Joshi was reportedly trying to visit his thirteen-year-old daughter in Geneva, Switzerland, but a court refused to let him go because he posed a flight risk in June 2021.
Controversies
Raj Kundra, Joshi’s former business partner, accused him of fraud in January 2018 in relation to a poker league they both participated in. Since then, Kundra has filed a lawsuit for defamation against Joshi.
Joshi’s business partner Parag Sanghvi brought a lawsuit against him in January 2021, citing fraud and failure to pay franchise royalties for the Playboy Beer Garden in Pune.

Short biography of Sachin Joshi
Sachin Joshi made his acting debut in the Telugu movie Mounamelanoyi in 2002. He then starred in the movies Ninu Chudaka Nenundalenu and Orey Pandu. He didn’t make another movie appearance until 2011 when he co-produced and played the title role in the Hindi film Aazaan. He made his cinematic debut in Hindi with the movie Aazaan.
In the Nee Jathaga Nenundali adaptation of Aashiqui 2, which starred Aditya Roy Kapur in the Hindi original, Joshi made a triumphant return to Tollywood. Nazia Hussain, who made her acting debut in Aashiqui 2, co-starred with him.
Joshi also had a lead role in the 2013 movie Jackpot, which also starred Naseeruddin Shah and Sunny Leone.
