Modeling and Early Career
Arjit Taneja joined the modeling agency Elite Model Management India Pvt. Ltd. in November 2010. Taneja came from Delhi to Mumbai in mid-2012 and began his acting career on television. In that year as the companion of Karan Kundra’s character in Ekta Kapoor’s Channel V India’s V The Serial.
He worked with Ekta Kapoor on Sony TV’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain in 2013, in which he played a minor role. He also competed in MTV India’s MTV Splitsvilla 6 and Sony TV’s Box Cricket League 1, the latter being his third time with Kapoor.

Taneja’s career took a turn when he signed on to play Purab Khanna in Zee TV’s iconic daily soap Kumkum Bhagya, which was developed by Kapoor. He got the Zee Gold Award for Best Supporting Actor and left the program in 2016.
Arjit Taneja then spent a few months in Indonesia in 2017, when he was cast as the lead in the Indonesian show Nadin ANTV opposite his former Kumkum Bhagya co-star Mrunal Thakur and Indonesian actress Dewi Persik.
