In the round, she competed against Bangladesh, which she won, securing a position in the Top 40 of Miss World 2019.

She completed her early studies from Mahatma Education Society, Mumbai. Rao did her education from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Delhi and she is a student of CA.
