One must not play two characters at a time as this could lead to severe chaos and will surely backfire. Don’t believe it? You must watch Satyameva Jayate 2 then. Seems like, Kunal Kamra has not watched the movie yet because if he had, he would have learnt the lesson. As a consequence, he attempted to do his filthy politics under the garb of comedy. However, Kunal Kamra has been slammed by a father whose son’s video he had morphed.
Kunal Kamra posted a doctored video
The comedians these days have turned into propagandists. Kunal Kamra is one such comedian. Under the garb of attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling BJP government of India, Kamra has been trying to revive his dead career. In one such attempt, Kunal Kamra had shared the morphed video of Modi’s interaction in Germany with a child replacing the song sung by the boy— ‘Hey Janmabhoomi Bharat’ — with “Mehengayi daayan khaaye jaat hain”.

Notably, the boy sang a patriotic song for Prime Minister Modi in Berlin. PM Modi praised the boy’s song and said “Shaabash (well done).”
On Wednesday, Kunal Kamra took to Twitter to share the video of the seven-year-old only to use it to take a jab at the PM.
Boy’s father slammed Kamra for the pathetic comedy
Ganesh Pol is the father of the boy whose video has been morphed. Soon after the video went viral, Pol criticised comedian Kunal Kamra and flattened his pride. Pol took to Twitter to slam the so-called comedian and tweeted, “He is my 7-year-old son, who wanted to sing this song for his beloved Motherland. Though he is still very young but certainly he loves his country more than you Mr. Kamra or Kachra watever u are.”
“Keep the poor boy out of your filthy politics & try to work on your poor jokes,” Pol added, tagging Kamra.

While speaking with India Today, the child’s father, Ganesh Pol, said, “Whose permission did he take before morphing or modifying that video? Few people are saying that it’s comedy, but comedy can’t be done with kids.”
Pol, like any other father, wanted his son to stay away from such news.
“I just want to keep my boy away from all this. I don’t want to show these negative things to him,” Ganesh Pol said.

The child’s father claimed that it was not a publicity event and asserted, “My son doesn’t know what Facebook or Twitter is. He just likes these patriotic songs. He is just singing for his motherland.”
NCPCR acts against Kamra
Meanwhile, the child rights body NCPCR took strict action against comedian Kunal Kamra for the offence. The NCPCR also asked for the immediate removal of the video.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), in a letter, stated that “A complaint was received by it regarding Kunal Kamra tweeting the “doctored” video of a minor singing a patriotic song to further his own political agendas.”
“The Commission has taken cognizance of the complaint and is of the view that using minors for propagating political ideologies is a violation of the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Further, the Commission is apprehensive that using children for such promotional purposes is harmful and detrimental to their mental well-being,” it said.
The Commission, thus, has asked that the video should be removed from the platform immediately.
However, after facing the backlash from the Twitter users, Kamra has now deleted the tweet. The incident, however, gives a clear message that such comedians cum propagandists should be given the treatment they actually deserve.
