Raghu Ram is an Indian actor and television producer. He formerly worked at MTV India as a senior supervising producer and was the originator of the reality shows MTV Roadies, MTV Dropout Pvt Ltd, and MTV Splitsvilla. His full name is Raghu Ram Ambadapudi. Raghu Ram was born on 15 April 1975 in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Raghu and Rajiv made their acting debut in the Bollywood film Tees Maar Khan,’ starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, in 2010. He debuted the reality show ‘Dropout Pvt Ltd,’ which aired on the MTV channel in July 2017.
Ram, his brother Rajiv, and MTV Roadies co-host Rannvijay Singh faced a challenging scenario in Pune in April 2011 when some Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists attempted to blacken their faces. This was for using derogatory words on national television while attending a promotional gathering in the city.

Early career
Raghu Ram began his career at MTV India, where he oversaw programmes such as MTV Love Line with VJs Malaika Arora and Cyrus Broacha, as well as MTV Select and the inaugural season of MTV Super Select with VJ Nikhil Chinapa.
Ram was a competitor on the first season of the reality television show Indian Idol in 2004, and was one of the first to put his voice to the test in front of the judges, Anu Malik, Farah Khan, and Sonu Nigam.
He was turned down because of his poor singing abilities and distinct personality features.
After Roadies
Following 11 years on the show, Ram declared in 2014 that he will no longer be connected with it after season X2. On Twitter, he stated, “It’s time for Roadies. But I’m not going to do it. I’ve finished it. I’ve moved on. It’s also about time.”
Ram released A.I.SHA My Virtual Girlfriend, a webcam fiction show, through the online content platform Arre in April 2016.
Ram debuted the reality show Dropout Pvt Ltd in July 2017, in which contestants complete challenges to assess their business aptitude and build a startup.

Raghu Ram and his twin brother were born in the city of Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. His mother is a journalist and his father is a professional accountant.
Supriya Nistala, their younger sister, is married and has a son and a daughter.
Sugandha Garg, an actress, was his wife. After over a decade of marriage, they announced their split in 2016. In 2018, their divorce was finalised.
He married Natalie Di Luccio, a singer, in 2018. They welcomed a baby boy named Rhythm on January 8, 2020.
He attended Deshbandhu College in the first year but switched to Sri Venkateswara College in the second. He completed his graduation from Osmania University in Hyderabad in his last year.
