Reeza Hendricks is a South African cricketer who represents Gauteng and the national side of South Africa. He bats first and is right-handed. Hendricks was called up for the T20I team for the tour of Australia in 2014 after a successful season with the Knights. He was granted a longer run after getting a duck in his first game. He hit two 40s, one against Australia and the other against the West Indies, although neither was very impressive. As a result, when the crew went to Bangladesh, he couldn’t locate a place to stay.
In 2018, he broke into the One-Day side after consistent performances for Lions and Griqualand West. Hendricks joined an exclusive group of players who have scored a century on their debut, with his century coming against Sri Lanka at Pallekele. Hendricks was assigned the opener’s position in mid-2018, but he was inconsistent in the build-up to the 2019 World Cup, and he missed out on the 15-man roster due to Aiden Markram’s dominance in the List A format.

Hendricks became a regular starter for South Africa in white-ball cricket in 2018, and he also played a key role in Jozi Stars’ Mzansi Super League title-winning campaign, scoring 412 runs in nine innings at a strike rate of 142.56, with including back-to-back hundreds.
Hendricks is still a member of South Africa’s T20 squad, a format in which he is more at ease. When Jozi Stars won the inaugural Mzansi Super League, he was the third-best run-scorer. Hendricks’ goal would be to secure his spot in the T20 World Cup in 2020.
