Yogesh Tripathi is an Indian television actor, best known for his role as Police Inspector Happu Singh in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai!. He was born on born 13 August 1979 in the small town of Uttar Pradesh- Rath, Hamirpur. Career
Yogesh Tripathi started his acting career in theatre at Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts. After gaining some fame in the local media, he came to Mumbai to try his luck. For a year, he gave many auditions but did not get any work.
He got his break with Chlormint commercials and later appeared in about 47 ad films. He was noticed by director Shashank Bali who was working with FIR TV serial on SAB TV channel. He worked in FIR portraying different characters.
Starting in January 2018, he was portraying the character of Chhote, a saloon owner in the Edit II Productions sitcom Jijaji Chhat Par Hai airing on Sab TV.
Since 2015 he has been featured on Inspector Happu Singh and on TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par! Edit II Productions sitcom, is gaining immense popularity among the audience. Starting in January 2018, he was portraying the character of Chhote, a salon owner, in Editing II Productions’ sitcom Jijaji Chhat Per Hai on SAB TV.
He will play the lead role in an Edit II Productions sitcom, Happu Ki Ult Paltan, a spin-off of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Which will focus on Happu Singh’s mother, wife and children. The show will start airing on &TV on 4th March 2019. The show promo was released on 6 February 2019 on YouTube.
