He was born in Gujarat’s Surendranagar and received his education in Vadodara. He graduated from Vadodara with a Bachelor of Commerce and later an MBA.
He is married to Shweta Kawatra, a television actress. They competed in Nach Baliye 2’s dance competition, where Manav was named best dancer by Saroj Khan. On May 11, 2012, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter. The couple is Buddhists who practice Nichiren Buddhism.
