My house is illegal, please demolish it, Yogi Ji

yogi government criminals

The tables have turned completely, in the Yogi 2.0 government now criminals themselves are surrendering before the Police, such as the fear of rule of law in criminals in UP.

Pleading to demolish own Illegal house

A strange but quite understandable turn of events has occurred in the Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh. A man named Ehsan Mian has written to the district administration that his house is constructed on government land which is partially waqf and partially government property.

Ehsan said,” We are staying in the house for nearly two generations. In our plot map, I recently found that the house was built illegally on the property of the Waqf and the government. I decided to file the application to demolish it.”

The SDM Ashok Choudhary confirmed the same and after getting the request, the administration surveyed the village which found the claim to be true and the necessary action will be taken soon.

SDM Choudhary said,” Several homes in Mitrapur Ehrola village under tehsil Shahabad of Rampur district are built on dried-up ponds and graveyards. After a survey of the village, the administration found out that such land cannot be kept. We are now compelled to take action. Official notices will be sent to them soon.”

Shahabad tehsildar Dinesh Kumar said that the illegal demolition of government property will affect nearly 50 families. And the land will then be given to poor families to build their own houses. The honesty of Ehsan has angered many of his villagers and sensing the threat he has demanded ‘protection’ for himself.

Yogi 2.0 – Death-Knell for Criminals

More than 50 criminals have surrendered before the police authorities since the oath-taking ceremony of Yogi Adityanath’s government. This has been happening in Yogi’s first term as well. Prior to the Saffron party, the state was a bastion of mafias like Mukhtar Ansari, Atiq Ahmed, Azam Khan etc. Now all of the organized Crime mafias are languishing in jail or have been neutralized if they tried to flee from the authorities.

Contrast with Other governments

Previous administrations in UP lost the chance of re-governance on the ground of poor law and order situation and it was the opposition who would raise it as a poll plank like the one slogan BSP used against then ruling party SP – “Chad Gundan ki chati per, Mohar lagegi hathi per” (Translation – Ride on the chests of Criminals and stamp on Elephant i.e. BSP’s election symbol) but this time reversing all poll trends the saffron party led by ‘Hindu Hriday Samrat’ Yogi Adityanath, being the incumbent, themselves made it a poll plank and the thumping majority for the party shows that people did validate the claim that law and order have improved drastically in UP.

One more interesting point to note in the assembly election was the mention of ‘Bulldozer Baba’. Bulldozers were seen during election rallies, people memed about it and after the victory also some kids waved small Bulldozers’ prototypes. In Gorakhpur, people organized a Bulldozer rally, climbed, and danced on it. This reflects how Bulldozers have now become the new symbol of action against criminals.

Now in contrast to a contemporary government, Arvind Kejriwal in a recent rally said that the new Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has finished corruption in Punjab in a short span of 10 days. While the veracity of this claim has been exposed thoroughly, the change is visible in the most populous state i.e Uttar Pradesh. The criminals themselves are requesting Police authorities to either arrest them or demolish their illegal properties, the one aforementioned.

The Yogi Model of ‘Bulldozer against Mafia’ has created terror in the hearts and souls of criminals and many other states and authorities are following the same route with the same vigour and tenacity. The improvement in law and order doesn’t mean a reduction in organized crimes alone, it leads to economic progress as well and in a real sense can bring Ram Rajya to the state. This positive change has given a decent platform for the industries to invest in UP and an enormous target of 10 lakh crore investment is set up by the UP CM which will improve the livelihood of the common citizens manifold.
