The “White Man’s Burden” philosophy is still prevalent in today’s world order. Following this philosophy, the West is taking a moral high ground and preaching to India on Muslim rights. It is both tragic and funny that the nation which killed most Muslims around the world through its greedy wars is preaching to the nation with one of most Muslim citizens.
US’s Hippocratic reports, sermons on India
The US has taken on itself to preach to the world about the rights of citizens, especially the Muslim minorities. To put out its sermons on nations it releases United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) reports annually. The latest USCIRF report has recommended Biden administration to designate India as a “Country of Particular Concern”.
The USCIRF said, “In 2021, religious freedom conditions in India significantly worsened. During the year, the Indian government escalated its promotion and enforcement of policies-including those promoting a Hindu-nationalist agenda that negatively affect Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Dalits, and other religious minorities.”

The Biden administration has been lecturing India on Human Rights issues and its treatment of Muslim minorities. Moreover, many democrat leaders are anti-India and regularly criticise India on Kashmir and Muslim rights issues.
But the matter of fact is that the United States has killed the most innocent Muslims around the world. It has bombed many nations and toppled local governments to fulfil its greed and ideological supremacy, be it that of Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan etc. Islamophobia in the west was on a rise since 9/11 and still many far-right groups in the US and west give Islamophobic statements. The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson once termed the Burqa-laden Muslim women as letterboxes.
ToolKit Propaganda is back, this time more despicable
It seems the liberals and Islamists have started to work on a new toolkit with an agenda to de-legitimise Indian democracy and paint an anti-Muslim picture. Many liberals and leftist media organisations have started peddling false news of Muslim victimhood and they often cry foul for what they claim would be a Muslim genocide in the making.
Journalist Mehdi Hasan shared his show’s clip on the social media blogging site Twitter. In the video, he used all the cliches against the Indian ruling party BJP, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and PM Modi. To know about the status of Muslims in India, the panellist included the so-called ‘Journalist’ Rana Ayyub who pitched her Gujarat riot theory to paint PM Modi in a bad light. It is pertinent to note that the Honourable Supreme Court has slammed her book on the Gujarat riot.

Some other celebs like German Footballer Mesut Ozil and Indian-American Writer Padma Lakshmi also propagated this false propaganda about the Muslim persecution in India.

Sickening to see the violence against Muslims celebrated in India. The widespread anti-Muslim rhetoric preys on fear and poisons people.

The farmers’ protest gave a new buzz word “toolkit”. The liberals, anti-India forces and pro-Khalistanis started rallying behind a fixed agenda to mass organise, tweet, protest, organise funds and ignite clashes on the line of religion, caste and class. They pushed foreign nations’ governments to speak badly of the Indian government and brand India as a failing democracy. The organisers chalked out every detail to be followed in a single document which was called the toolkit. That toolkit, however, was exposed because of the premature actions of liberal’s favourite climate activist Greta Thunberg.
The persons playing the minority victimhood card should learn that the smallest minority in India is the Parsis, who fled from their motherland (now Iran) and have been thriving and flourishing in India. India is the Mother of Democracy and it can look after its all citizens, be it Hindus or Muslims. Hence, the West should shun away the hypocrisy and start acting maturely. It should stop acting as the guardian of Democracy and moral police for the world. It should work on Islamophobia and Hinduphobia prevalent in their homeland before preaching India.
