Career
In 2004, Ramya Subramanian competed in the Miss Chennai pageant. She went on to host shows on Star Vijay, including Kalakkapovadhu Yaaru?, Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhudeva?, Namma Veetu Kalyanam, and Kedi Boys Killadi Girls. She claimed that after her marriage, she would reduce her television commitments and become more selective with her job.
Ramya Subramanian made her acting debut in the 2007 film Mozhi, in which she had an uncredited role.
