Paidipally was born in the Indian town of Nirmal in the state of Telangana. Films have captivated him since he was a child. His father owned a theater in his neighborhood, thus he grew up in a theatrical environment.

Career
Vamshi Paidipally started his cinematic career as an assistant director in the film Eeswar (2002). Producer Dil Raju offered to make him a film under his production house while he was working on the film Bhadra (2005). Following that, he made his directorial debut with Prabhas’ Munna (2009). At the box office, it was a mediocre effort. He went on to direct Brindavanam, a commercial triumph starring NTR Jr. Yevadu (2014), starring Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, comes next.
His 2016 Telugu film Oopiri, starring Nagarjuna and Karthi and based on the French film The Intouchables (2011), was a critical and commercial success. He got the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu for the film.
In 2019, he worked on Maharshi with star Mahesh Babu. The film was nominated for a National Film Award for Best Popular Film that Provides Healthy Entertainment. Vamshi Paidipally was hired to helm Vijay’s 66th film alongside Sai Pallavi, which will be produced by Dil Raju, in September 2021. The filming has yet to commence.

Short Biography of Vamshi Paidipally
He attended Hyderabad Public School for his primary education and Little Flower Junior College for his secondary education. From Badruka Educational Society, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in business and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA). Vamshi Paidipally left his software career to work as an assistant director on the film Eeshwar in 2002, and later as an associate director on the films Varsham, Mass, and Bhadra.
Family
Vamshi Paidipally married Malini in 2007 and they have a daughter named Aadya together. They are residents of Hyderabad.
