Education

Suza Kumar, who was born in Chennai, attended the New York Film Academy for a diploma in cinematography and then the SAE Institute in Singapore for a filmmaking course before returning to India.

Career of Suza Kumar

She then moved into modeling before accepting an invitation to work as an actress from Wunderbar Films. Suza Kumar made her acting debut in Ethir Neechal (2013), in which she played Sivakarthikeyan’s initial love interest for a brief scene. She was included in the song “Nijamellam Maranthu Pochu” and received praise for her performance in the film from critics. She has a minor role in Ajith Kumar’s Siva’s Veeram (2014).

She went on to star in two more horror films, Vellikizhamai 13am Thethi and Kanneer Anjali, both with lower budgets than her first two.

Suza Kumar considers herself fortunate to have landed a role in an Ajith film so early in her career, and she still can’t believe she met him. Ajith’s leading lady was Tamannaah, while Santhanam, who has become one of Kollywood’s most in-demand performers, was cast in the film.

R. S. Durai Senthilkumar’s directorial debut, Ethir Neechal, is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language sports comedy drama film written and directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar. Sivakarthikeyan, Priya Anand, and Nandita Swetha feature in the film. It was produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films label and distributed by S. Madhan under the Vendhar Movies brand. Principal photography began on July 23, 2012, and ended on February 22, 2013. Anirudh Ravichander created the film’s music, while Velraj shot the cinematography and Kishore Te edited it. The film was released on May 1, 2013, to mostly positive reviews and went on to become a box office hit.

Veeram is a Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Siva and produced by Vijaya Productions that was released in 2014. Ajith Kumar and Tamannaah appear in the film, which also has Vidharth, Bala, Santhanam, Nassar, Pradeep Rawat, and Atul Kulkarni in supporting roles. Pre-production activities began in December 2011, with filming beginning in April 2013. The film was released on 10 January 2014. The film was well-received by critics and was a financial success at the box office. In Telugu, the film was recreated as Katamarayudu (2017), and in Kannada, it was adapted as Odeya. Suza Kumar played the role of Senbagam in the film.

Maanik is a fantasy comedy film directed by Martyn and starring Ma Ka Pa Anand and Suza Kumar that was released in India in 2019. The film, which began production in mid-2016 and was released in January 2019, featured music composed by Dharan Kumar and lyrics written by Mirchi Vijay.
