Arif Mohammad Khan, the Governor of Kerala and a former Congress leader, is a class apart. There is a reason why the liberal cabal hates him and that is his outright honesty. The man is back with a bang yet again. Guess how?
Well, he has unearthed a massive fraud by Vijayan led Kerala Government.
Vijayan Government exposed by Kerala Governor
A war of words has erupted between Kerala governor Arif Mohammed Khan and the LDF government. The matter was highlighted on Saturday when Governor Khan publicly slammed the Government. He hit out at the government saying “No one in government has the authority to “control” Raj Bhavan and it is his duty to ensure that their business is conducted in accordance with the Constitution.”

He exposed the vicious practice of the Kerala Government to provide pension benefits to the personal staff of ministers just after completing two years. He stated that it was a “gross violation and abuse of authority” and “misuse and abuse of money of people of Kerala”.
He further reported that soon after he came to know about the routine, he requested the government to scrap the practice and make it part of the policy address.
The governor also made it clear that he was going to pursue the pension matter and not going to leave it there. While interacting with the media, he also told that “I am here not to run the administration. I am here to ensure that the business of the government is conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and constitutional morality.”

Khan also highlighted that “When he served as Union cabinet minister, he could appoint only 11 persons in his personal staff but in Kerala every minister has more than 20 personal staff, which causes huge financial burden to the state exchequer.”
He added that “Nowhere in the country are these staff, who are appointed on a co-terminus basis, eligible to receive pension.”
He did not stop here and further revealed that party recruitment was taking place under the garb of appointment of the personal staff. He told that “they were essentially political workers working for the party for two years and being financed by the state exchequer.”
For those unversed, the political corridors in Kerala on Thursday witnessed high drama when Khan refused to sign the policy document of the CPI(M)-led LDF government. Khan had then expressed discontent over a letter written by the LDF government against the appointment of a senior journalist-turned politician in a key post in the Raj Bhavan.
Arif Mohammed Khan is known for not mincing his words when it comes to speaking for what is true. And, with the recent development to expose the Kerala Government, he has proved the same. However, what transpires next in this row, is yet to witness. But, one thing is for sure action against Kerala Government needs to be taken for the fraud.
