Arun Bothra is a 1996 batch Indian police service( IPS) officer in the state of Odisha. The Odisha state government appointed 1996 batch IPS officer as the new transport commissioner, so he was appointed as the chairman cum managing director of Odisha state road transport corporation( OSRTC) and the chief executive officer of the capital region urban transport( CRUT) at Bhubaneswar, Odisha in June 2021.

Education and career of Arun Bothra
IPS Arun Bothra has completed his bachelor’s in arts from Srinagar college, Rajasthan. After graduation, he qualified for the UPSC examination in 1996 in which he got the post of IPS officer which was his dream to be an IPS officer one day. He has been a very dedicated and hardworking person since childhood.
Before joining as CDM, Odisha state road transport corporation, MD, and capital region urban transportation, in 2017, he was working as an IG officer under the Crime department, Odisha State. Now, he is a social worker and people try to contact him for their help.
