Every year lakhs of students appear in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination in the country, but very few students are able to clear it and out of these, the number of those who become Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers is very less. Union Public Service Commission announced the results of CSE 2020 final exam last month, in which Delhi-based Ankita Jain also succeeded and became an IAS officer by securing the third rank in All India.
Started UPSC preparation by quitting job
Ankita Jain is originally from Delhi and she was smart in studies since childhood. After 12th, he obtained a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Delhi Technological University. After this he got a job in a private company, but after some time he left the job and started preparing for the UPSC exam.
IAS could not be made in first three attempts
After leaving the job, Ankita Jain worked hard to prepare for the UPSC exam, but she did not succeed in becoming an IAS in the first three attempts. Despite this, he did not give up and fulfilled his dream of civil service by passing the examination in the fourth attempt. Ankita Jain started preparing for UPSC exam in the year 2017 and she did not get success in the first attempt, but she passed the exam in the second attempt.
However, rank of Ankita Jain was not good and due to this he could not get selected for IAS and he joined Indian Accounts Service. Along with this, she kept on preparing for UPSC, but she could not clear the exam in the third attempt. Finally, in the fourth attempt, he fulfilled his dream of becoming an IAS.

husband of IAS Ankita Jain is an IPS officer
Ankita Jain’s family background is of civil service and her husband Abhinav Tyagi is an IPS officer. Apart from this, the special thing is that this time Ankita’s sister Vaishali Jain also passed the UPSC exam and became an IAS officer by securing 21st rank in All India.

Thoughts on IAS of Ankita Jain
IAS Ankita Jain believes that first you should read the basic books of NCERT. When your basics are clear, then go through the standard books. She believes that it is very important to make notes during preparation. This makes revision easier. According to Ankita, practice of answer writing is also necessary. If you practice continuously, then you will get the benefit of it on the day of the exam. In the end, Ankita says that keep working hard, then you will definitely get success in UPSC.
