Bhagat Singh died fighting for independent India, so Kejriwal think thrice before uttering his name

Remember the years 2011-2012, when India was crippled by terrorism, scams, sinking economy, inflation, corruption and whatnot? A voice rose against the system, Kumar Vishwas. Kumar founded the Aam Aadmi Party but was later sidelined by Arvind Kejriwal.

Kumar Vishwas had claimed that AAP’s supremo has close ties with the Khalistani separatists and their sympathizers. In response to which Arvind Kejriwal has called himself the “sweetest terrorist”. He also declared himself as a follower of Shaheed-E-Aazam Bhagat Singh.

Kejriwal may not be aware that Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life for his dream of Independent India. Or maybe Kejriwal is also ready to fight for ‘Independent Khalistan’.

Kumar Vishwas’ vitriolic attacks on Kejriwal

Just before two days from Punjab polls, the poet turned politician Kumar Vishwas in an interview with ANI said that Kejriwal’s political ambitions know no boundaries. He called out the Delhi CM for extending support to separatists. Kumar claimed that Kejriwal once told him that he will, “either will become Chief Minister of Punjab or will become first Prime Minister of an independent nation (Khalistan).”

Kumar Vishwas went on to say that he warned Kejriwal to not take support from fringe elements and separatist sympathisers. In the interview, Kumar also made mention of Referendum 2020 that was being funded by ISI. He even said that he was removed from the Punjab meetings after he raised objections on these.

After his statement stoked controversy, Kumar challenged Kejriwal to declare publicly that he is against the idea of Khalistan and that he was will fight against it. Kumar claimed that “Kejriwal has two specialities. First is lying with confidence and the second is playing the victim card projecting that everybody is ganging up against him.”

Kejriwal calls himself “the sweetest terrorist”

After this attack from Kumar Vishwas, Aam Aadmi Party and its convenor called it a “pre-planned vicious propaganda.” The party that currently rules Delhi called it unsubstantiated, false, inflammatory and defamatory.

After both Congress and BJP rallied behind Kumar Vishwas, Kejriwal said to reporters, that all have ganged up against him and are calling him a terrorist and called it a matter of laugh. He went to ask PM Modi to arrest him, “They have all ganged up against me and they are calling me a terrorist. It is comedy – it is a laughing matter. If that is the case, then why doesn’t (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi-ji arrest me?”

He went to call himself the sweetest terrorist of the world who builds schools, hospitals, roads and provides electricity and water. And with this Arvind Kejriwal just began his old rant of ‘bijli-paani.’

Kejriwal can’t be a disciple of Bhagat Singh

Kejriwal went on to call himself a disciple of Bhagat Singh and even compared himself with the great freedom fighter. After this comparison, there is an outrage on Twitter and netizens are angry on this comparison.

Read More: Dear fake liberals of India. Here’s what you need to know. Bhagat Singh was NOT a Communist

AAP’s chief said, “There are two types of terrorist – one spreads fear among people, the other spreads fear among the corrupt. Today all corrupt people have banded together against me. They get sleepless nights and they dream of me. 100 years ago, Bhagat Singh was called a terrorist. Now 100 years later they are calling this Bhagat Singh follower a terrorist.”

Bhagat Singh was a freedom fighter who sacrificed his life at a very young age for the sake of an independent India. He lived his life in complete devotion to the Independence movement. Kejriwal has been misusing his sacrifice for political gains.

Read More: For Congress, Bhagat Singh is still a Terrorist

Bhagat Singh laid down his life in the fight to gain independence. While comparing himself with Bhagat Singh, Kejriwal has created confusion. How can a politician, who is facing allegations of hurting the unity of India, be a disciple of a freedom fighter? Or maybe in some corner of his heart, Kejriwal also wants to fight for another nation.

Kejriwal: A repeat Offender

This is not the first time that Kumar Vishwas has raised allegations of Kejriwal’s association with Khalistani sympathizers. Several prominent faces have raised such issues earlier as well. In 2018, Gul Panag made similar allegations.

Poorly calculated flirtation that was. One I warned against. Repeatedly. It's because they didn't 'get' or 'understand' Punjab. Thought the K gang had electoral weightage. All of us from Punjab, knew better. But alas!

— Gul Panag (@GulPanag) February 24, 2018

Ex-AAP member Alka Lamba has also gone all guns blazing against Kejriwal. She has asked him to clarify whether he has taken financial support from pro-Khalistani groups or not.

Even in the 2017 elections, banned Sikh body International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) Gurdial Singh had batted for Kejriwal and campaigned for AAP. In 2018, Republic TV revealed that Khalistani groups had funded AAP in the Punjab elections.

After constant allegations, Kejriwal should himself clear his ties with the separatists. He is an accountable figure as he holds the CM post of India’s capital. And no chief minister of any state or UT should cater to separatist ideas, and if someone does, he is a threat to national security.
