Any value system which involves humans is a two-way street. Either it applies to all or none. However, for organisations like PETA, it’s only Hindus who have to listen to their lectures, while lamb slaughterers are given the tight-lipped silent treatment by the celebrity organisation
Mass killings to pray for someone’s life
A strange but not unique incident has come to light. Amidst the hullabaloo of UP elections, an animal cruelty saga has raised many eyebrows (except that of PETA).
One of Owaisi’s loyalists in his home state Telangana slaughtered 101 lambs to pray for his leader Asaduddin Owaisi. The man committing this grotesque atrocity on poor and helpless lambs is a businessman in Hyderabad. To encourage this manic act, Ahmed Balala, AIMIM leader and MLA of Malakpet was also present at the occasion.
Supporters are scared for Owaisi’s life after the attack
According to the news reports, the official reason why these lambs were slaughtered is that this would turn into a longer life span for Owaisi. Owaisi’s fan army believes that his life is in real danger after an alleged attack on him in Chhajarsi.
On Thursday, 3rd February 2022, Asaduddin Owaisi was returning to Delhi after finishing his election campaigning in Kithaur, Meerut. When his convoy was passing through Chhijarsi toll plaza, suddenly, a few people fired shots at Owaisi’s vehicle. According to a report by ThePrint, assassins fired a total of four rounds at Owaisi. Later, they fled from the crime scene, leaving behind their arms.

Silence from PETA
Normally, when an animal is killed like that, PETA and its local branch are expected to rush in at the spot with their protests’. However, last time we checked, there were no traces of any kind of PETA sponsored protests at Bagh-e-Jahanara in Hyderabad. So, we tried to check their Twitter handle for reactions, but here again, they have held a conspicuous silence.

PETA’s official handle had made a tweet, 8 hours before the time of writing. In their last two tweets, they are promoting vegan leathers and asking scientists to leave the rats alone respectively.

One could excuse PETA for being Geographically distant. However, one can’t make up any excuse for the silence of their Indian franchise. At the time of writing, the Indian arm of the organisation was busy prohibiting little children from riding elephants.

PETA refrains from addressing animal cruelty in Islam
This is not the first time PETA is silent when the person committing atrocity belongs to the Muslim community. It had once tried to suggest Muslims celebrate Vegan Eid in 2014, after which its activists were severely thrashed by Islamists.
For a few years, PETA remained silent on Muslim festivals. However, due to Hindus’ patient nature, the organisations did show the audacity to attack Sanatani festivals with the unequivocal support of banning jallikattu. Additionally, on every Hindu festival, the organisation finds a way to insert ‘animal harm’ in their appeals.

PETA does not have the guts
A pattern was emerging, and Hindus notices the silence during Muslim festivals, so they started to question PETA. Losing their fanbase, PETA started to make simple appeals on Muslim festivals like Bakrid. They did not confront their cultures but used indirect language like ‘slaughtering is illegal’ to air their messages.

With no statements against Owaisi and his fan following, PETA and its Indian arm have again confirmed to Hindus that any moral value in India is a tool to lecture the majority community of the country. For them, the minority is always innocent, no matter what they do.
Why India had to depend on a foreign organization to protest animal cruelty? Don’t we have our own animal rights organizations? Why they are silent? I thought we have an animal welfare department at the central government. Isn’t it Maneka Gandhi’s department? Besides almost no media reported this killing of vast number of animals anywhere.
Living in denial mode being an Abrahamic follower means, you have your head in the sand. It’s not in main stream media. But 100% true news.
Sad to read the 100 goats were sacrificed for long life of 1 bearded pig. Why were so many animals sacrificed for 1 pig? PETA is biased towards Jihadis PETA is so communal.
Let’s not ask for PETA or any foreign Abrahamic origin. They are there just to promote their interests and are the enemies of Hindus. The slaughtering of lambs only shows how primitive these desert cult apes are and how we should treat them.
