After showing his Hindu phobia, Munawar shows his antisemitism

There are some standards of human sensitivity. And that certainly involves talking decently about the Holocaust and the Jew victims who died in gas Chambers. Yet, ‘comedian’ Munawar Faruqi has reported sheer antisemitism in his latest video. He belittled the Holocaust.

Faruqi’s antisemitism out in the open

In the latest video, Faruqi starts by talking about Gujaratis and things like Gujarati songs, Gujarati food and the use of sugar in Gujarati cuisine.

However, in between his video, he can be seen talking about the Second World War, and this is where antisemitism comes out in the open. 

Faruqi said, “I have a theory. Had Hitler been Gujarati, then World War II wouldn’t have taken place”. In what seems like a poor attempt to crack a joke, Faruqi added, “His name would have been Hitesh with a moustache like Hitler…(you know), Jethalal”. He continued the unfunny joke further and said that unlike Hitler’s sign of ‘Hail Hitler, Hitesh’s sign would have been ‘Rokda’. 

Faruqi cracks a joke on the Holocaust

The controversial comedian also explained what the Holocaust was and then said that had Hitler been Gujarati, it wouldn’t have been the Holocaust but ‘haalo haalo caust’. 

He said, “There would have been food counters of dhokla, khakra instead.” And Hitesh would have made them eat so much of dhokla that “they would have died of gas”. 

The old Swastika propaganda

Hinduphobia around the world has been such that Hitler’s crooked Hakenkreuz has been often passed off as the Hindu swastika symbol. 

Faruqi did the same thing. First, he drew a comparison about how Hitler was a vegetarian and an animal lover. The unfunny comedian said, “That is a fu****g Gujarati thing.” And then the swastika jibe came up and the so-called comedian said that Hitler could have opened his restaurant- Swastika pure veg. 

That mandatory Ambani-Modi joke

Unfunny stand-up comedians generally have only one or two types of jokes to crack. And one of them involves mocking PM Modi and use of slander against Ambani. 

Faruqi is no different. He said that Hitler’s dream was ‘karlo duniya muthi mein’- to rule the world. But if he had been a Gujarati, he wouldn’t have killed anyone to rule the world. He would have followed a simple process- sell SIM cards, and fund someone who will kill everyone. ‘Karlo duniya muthi mein’ was the slogan of Reliance during 2003 for its RIM CDMA handset. 

So, you can pretty much understand what this joke means. 

And then there was the use of innuendo against PM Modi on expected lines. Faruqi said that people commit suicide due to two reasons- financial issues or love loss. Hitler had committed suicide, but if he were Gujarati and faced financial issues, he would have left the country. And if he faced love loss, he would have abandoned his wife and would have become the Prime Minister of the country. 

Whatever Faruqi said may sound shocking to you. But trust me, you shouldn’t feel shocked. After all, Hinduphobia and antisemitism aren’t rare. Such behaviour has been normalised across the world. No matter how crude a joke about antisemitism sounds, the reality is that in the left-liberal ecosystem, you can make antisemitic remarks and get away with it just like people making Hindu-hating remarks get away with it.
