The Caravan Magazine, an anti-Hindu propaganda portal, is a habitual offender that keeps publishing stories on every issue with the aim to defame the Modi government and Hindu leaders. Serving the cause of ‘left’ yet again, the magazine recently published an edition to portray Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as a ‘priest of terror’. However, little does it know that these campaigns to show CM Yogi in a negative light will ultimately ensure a massive victory for the nationalist party in the upcoming assembly elections.
Left begins the campaign to defame BJP
The Caravan, on 1st January 2022, launched a new campaign against the Yogi government. The edition by Dhirendra K Jha is titled Priest of Violence, ‘Adityanath’s reign of terror’.
The January issue—Adityanath’s reign of terror; What Bipin Rawat left behind; Ayushmann Khurrana’s woke cinema; The legal history of self-defence; Black lives in Indian literature; Nagaland rages against AFSPA; Somnath Hore’s Tebhaga diaries; and more. pic.twitter.com/CPyPplGYjE

The Caravan, while sharing the edition, tweeted, “Adityanath has styled himself as a combination of Hindu monk and hardcore Hindutva activist. His declarations of communal antipathy are so open and frequent that even Modi and Shah might appear moderate in comparison.”
The report also stated that “in the battle of public perceptions, Modi faces a challenge from Adityanath, who has the advantage of being an initiated yogi—for whom saffron is not just the colour of his political banner but also of his sectarian identity.”
Moreover, the report also quoted one of Adityanath’s college mates. It read, “I was surprised when I heard he became a sadhu because at the time he was definitely not a person with any spiritual tendencies.”

People extended support to Yogi Adityanath
As soon as the edition was shared by propaganda magazine, the Indian filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit tweeted, “This reign of terror of @myogiadityanathji is against Lutyens media like @thecaravanindiasupported by white collared terrorists , Urban naxals , Khalistani’s , Congis. India is safe from enemies within under the shadow of #Modi&#Yogi. Your days are numbered.”

Another activist and writer Yukti Rathi also extended her support to CM Yogi and tweeted, “I have registered a complaint against @thecaravanindiafor publishing a picture of the @myogiadityanathCM of Uttar Pradesh, with a caption “ADITYANATH’S REIGN OF TERROR” and another picture with wordings “PRIEST OF VIOLENCE”. @Uppolice@ghaziabadpolice@shalabhmani@vivekanandg.”

The Caravan’s never-ending false narrations
It was started by Delhi Press in 1940 and its editorial line adhered to the Nehruvian model of socialism and secularism. The magazine operated till 1988 and catered mainly to high-level bureaucrats and the left-liberal establishment of the country. It was an ardent supporter of the Soviet Union and as the people’s faith in communism started diminishing, the readership of the magazine also went down.
The magazine came in the fine print with its first issue in January 2010. Since then it has served the cause of ‘left’ in India with its monthly issues. From 1940 to 1988, it had served the cause of ‘left’ but in its new avatar, the magazine added an additional trait – Anti-Hindu agenda.
Last year in January, Vivek Doval, son of NSA Ajit Doval, filed a criminal defamation case against the senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and The Caravan Magazine in Patiala House court for allegedly publishing a defamatory article against him. He had also filed a criminal defamation case against Kaushal Shroff – the author of the article.
PIB has also fact-checked a claim by Caravan magazine’s ultra-left and ultra stupid health journalist Vidya Krishnan who claimed that the Modi government did not consult ICMR before taking a key decision.
“Claim: Caravan magazine has claimed that PM@narendramodi did not consult the 21-member scientific #COVID taskforce before extending the lockdown Reality: All decisions were taken after consulting the taskforce,” tweeted PIB.
Yogi Adityanath- a threat to radicals, terror and anti-Indians
Ever since Yogi Adityanath became the CM, he had been working to restore the demography change brought in by the Islamists.
As reported by TFI, Kairana, a historical city located in the Shamli district in Uttar Pradesh had been in the news for all the wrong reasons. The mass exodus of Kairana Hindus from the torture being inflicted upon them by the goons belonging to the majority population of Kairana was a point of national debate before the 2017 assembly elections.

As of July 2021, a total of 139 criminals have been killed and 3,196 injured in encounters with the Uttar Pradesh Police since 2017, while the force has lost 13 of its personnel in such incidents. Such has been the fear of the Yogi regime that many local wanted criminals have surrendered to the police voluntarily due to the fear of encounter.
Yogi Government has also passed a formal order to take decisive action on Sotiganj Market, in Meerut district of UP. The market is particularly infamous for selling stolen cars and auto parts at a cheap rate.

It is under his leadership only that the gangsters are being made to run for their life. And they have seen their empires collapsing to the ground right before their eyes.
Be it any sector, that is, from health to infrastructure, from law and order to women safety, the Yogi Government has done a commendable job. Thus, these negative campaigns to defame CM Yogi cannot cause any harm as the work done by him speaks for him. On the contrary, these baseless campaigns will ensure historical victory for BJP in the upcoming elections.
