Pakistan is offering its citizenship for sale and it’s not exactly a bad thing

Pakistan Pakistani Invest Passport

Indian Communists love to collate Indian capitalists and government to show that their combination is evil. On the other hand, their love for Pakistan is hidden to none. It is evident from the fact that they ushered no words against Pakistan selling its citizenship to capitalists. Frankly, it may turn out to be not a bad idea.

Pakistan selling its residential status

Pakistan has decided to offer its citizenship to a variety of people offering them money. Apparently, wealthy Afghan nationals are flocking to other countries like Turkey, Malaysia to enhance their chances of wealth creation. Pakistan wants them to invest in their country. The scheme is also open for Sikhs living in USA and Canada.

So, if you have decided to invest in Pakistan’s ‘potential’, here is what they are offering.

Passport

Pakistani state offers you a passport. On a Pakistani passport, you will have the freedom to travel most of the globe. However, it will be extremely tough for you to attain a visa for a particular destination.

The thing is that a Pakistani passport has one of the worst reputations in the world. Your Pakistani passport will be valuable only over those of Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. Simply put, if you and people from 108 other countries are applying for the same visa, you will be the 108th choice for approval.

Economy and Investment

You have decided to buy citizenship for investing your money. It’s worth looking at the value of your money in Pakistani currency. Along with your money to give returns, various other big businesses need to invest as well. Now, big businesses invest in a country based on its potential.

Investors take inputs from credit rating agencies to invest in Pakistan. Pakistan has been given high credit risk rating by these institutions. Currently, Pakistan’s economy does not look stable. It is mired by the worst inflation in history. Loans to pay previous loans have crippled the economy. Basically, investing in Pakistan is highly risky.

Democracy and Military

If you are looking for a unified decision-making authority, you are in for a treat in the minnow nation. Pakistan is known for this. The country does call itself an Islamic republic. However, the ultimate authority lies with the military. Whether it’s about holding wars or spending taxpayers’ money, Pakistan’s civil administration has little say on it.

For the last 73 years, there have been scuffles among both administrations, but Army has maintained its hold. It makes sense for anyone investing in Pakistan to make good connections with Army. Though, Army also holds the authority to turn their back from you; anytime and in any manner they want.

Internal security

Tribal warfare is an evolutionary evolved state of human nature. You will get plenty of this in Pakistan. Modern democracies are designed to dispense with it, but Pakistan relies on promoting it, quite a change. Though the world loves to call them terrorists, Pakistan doesn’t agree.

Pakistani administration considers them a force of goodwill. Suicide bombs, beheadings, murders are common sights in Pakistan. While spending your time in Pakistan, the thought of possible mishappening will cross your mind, every half an hour or so.

Respect for Women

On paper, Pakistan only supports those organisations which claim to support women. That’s why an ex-cricketer Imran Khan decided to support the Taliban, possibly on Shahid Afridi’s insider input that they support ladies.

On a practical level, things look quite different. Pakistani women are subject to brutal rape, forced marriages and other unthinkable atrocities. Women are believed to exist only for the sake of the pleasure of men. Anything beyond that is considered sinful for her existence.

Religious freedom

Pakistan is supportive of your religion. In fact, it’s one of the rarest theocratic nations in the world. Religion rules the roster. Religious freedom is sacrosanct in the country. You are fully allowed to pray anywhere, preach religious teachings etc. Religious schools will be there to teach your children about the significance of religion in daily life.

All the above-mentioned freedoms are available to you, only if you are an avid follower of Islam. Otherwise, you will be burned or beheaded.
