A Heartwarming Modi-Yogi Pic looks like a righteous King training his worthy successor

Yogi Adityanath, Modi, BJP

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the second-most popular leader in the country after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the most obvious successor for the top executive post of the country. Although BJP is a democratic party and if leaders like Devendra Fadnavis or Piyush Goyal prove themselves worthy of the post, then they may also get a chance, but so far, Yogi Adityanath is the top contender.

In an iconic photo of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath that is going viral over social media, the message is very clear – the PM trusts Yogi Aditynath, and is grooming him for succession. “We have embarked on a journey. We have dedicated our everything and pledged to build a new India which will touch heights beyond the sky, with new light,” tweeted Yogi Adityanath in Hindi, with the iconic photo of the Prime Minister’s hand on his back.

Yogi Adityanath now represents aspirations of more than 21 crore people, and a few years down the line, he may represent an India that aims to become Vishwa-Guru. Under his leadership, Uttar Pradesh has performed exceptionally well on metrics like law and order situation, investment, economy, implementation of welfare policies, infrastructure building, and so on.

The state, once infamous for lawlessness, has become a bright spot for the economy of the country in the last few years. In the last fiscal year, Uttar Pradesh overtook Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Maharashtra, to become the second-largest state of the country in terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP).

As per the data from Finance Department, UP’s GSDP for the FY 21 was Rs 19.48 lakh crores, more than Tamil Nadu’s Rs 19.2 lakh crores, Karnataka’s Rs 18.03 lakh crores, and Gujarat’s Rs 17.4 lakh crores.

After the Coronavirus outbreak in China and its mishandling of the crisis leading to a global pandemic, many countries are looking to move manufacturing units away from China. In fact, many countries that are arch-enemies of China but have manufacturing units in China, like Japan, are incentivizing companies to move out, and this presents a golden opportunity to India, especially the industrially backward states like UP and Bihar, where labour cost is extremely low.

UP has the existing capacity to replace China as the ‘factory of the world’ with a population of 22 crores and a young demography. With the outbreak of Coronavirus and the anger towards China, the companies of developed nations that have manufacturing units in China are looking to shift to UP.

The UP government has shown the most proactive approach in the last few months to attract these companies, and this has resulted in ongoing talks with many foreign companies over shifting manufacturing units to the state, some of which have already pledged investment.

Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath, the state is building highways at an unprecedented rate. Purvanchal Expressway has been completed and many more state highways like Gorakhpur expressway, Bundelkhand expressway, and Ganga expressway, are on different stages.

Yogi Adityanath proved himself to be a worthy successor of Prime Minister Modi, and is already being groomed to take over the post. Although he will face stiff competition from faces like Devendra Fadnavis, Piyush Goyal, and Nitin Gadkari, so far, he looks like the front runner.
