The Rajasthan police at the behest of the Congress government in the state was seen mercilessly raining batons at the farmers protesting outside the Hanumangarh Collectorate office. However, for the left-wing media, it was just a ‘mild force’ that was used to push back the farmers.
Farmers demanding the procurement of paddy baton-charged
The news agency ANI shared a video on Monday in which the farmers and the police can be seen standing on opposite sides of an iron gate that leads to the District Collectorate’s office. The farmers were reportedly gathered outside the District Collectorate’s office in the Hanumangarh area to demand procurement of rice on the minimum support price.

While the farmers tried to enter the collectorate’s office to press for their demands, the police refused to let them in. Consequently, some of the farmers jumped the gate and entered the premises. Thereafter, the cops indiscriminately began showering batons on the farmers and continued till the majority of them departed.
The Circle Officer Prashant Kaushik claimed that “The farmers were trying to enter the premises forcibly. Therefore, they were pushed back.” Additionally, Raghuveer Singh Verma, a member of the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha’s Hanumangarh district committee said, “The farmers were demanding the procurement of rice on the minimum support price (MSP). They were peaceful but police used force against them.”
Interestingly, despite such a brutal baton charged by the Rajasthan Police, the left-wing media attempted to portray the violence as an incident involving a ‘mild force’. For an instance, an article titled ‘Rajasthan: Police Use Mild Force Against Protesting Farmers in Hanumangarh’ published by News 18 stated, “Mild force was used to push back the farmers who allegedly tried to enter the Hanumangarh collectorate during a protest, demanding procurement of rice on the minimum support price.”
Moreover, the high commands of the grand-old party instead of taking note of what is going on in their own state are busy baking their political bread on Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri episode.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, even though the ruckus created by these so-called farmers in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri led to the death of nine innocent people, is standing firm in solidarity with them to defame the government in the centre. Priyanka should, however, visit Rajasthan instead of Uttar Pradesh as the Yogi Government is already in action to expose the elements involved in the violence that erupted on Sunday in Lakhimpur Khire.
That is same thing Modi and Amit should do in Delhi, but they seem to be scared.
