BJP MP Varun Gandhi is caught up in the controversies following his recent attitude that clearly depicts his sympathy towards murderous Khalistani mobs projecting themselves as innocent farmers. For many days, Varun Gandhi has been ranting endlessly which shows that he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and must be expelled from the BJP at the earliest.
Varun Gandhi expressed sympathy for the murderous Khalistanis
On Sunday, the violence that erupted during a farmers’ protest in Lakhimpur Kheri led to the death of eight people which included both farmers and BJP workers. In the clash near Banbirpur in Lakhimpur Kheri, two SUVs were set on fire by the fake farmers. Despite such a brutal incidence of violence caused by the farmers, Varun Gandhi, without any due diligence, jumped on the bandwagon to defend the farmers. In a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Gandhi demanded a CBI inquiry in the case as well as Rs 1 crore compensation to the family members of deceased farmers.
While expressing his sympathy for the murderous mob that attacked the convoy who lost their lives in the attacks, Gandhi said, “agitating farmer brothers are our own citizens are suffering due to some issues and protesting under their democratic rights.”
The three-time BJP MP from Uttar Pradesh also said, “We should deal with them with great restraint and patience. In any case, we should treat our farmers with sensitivity and only in Gandhian and democratic way within the ambit of law.”
pic.twitter.com/e2tE1x4z3T

Varun slammed those who glorified Godse
Moreover, Varun also took to Twitter to lash out at those who glorified Mahatma Gandhi’s assassin, Nathuram Godse. On the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, he tweeted, “India has always been a spiritual superpower, but it is the Mahatma who articulated our nation’s spiritual underpinnings through his being & gave us a moral authority that remains our greatest strength even today. Those tweeting “Godse Zindabad” are irresponsibly shaming the nation.”

Varun switching sides
It is pertinent to note that Maneka Gandhi who was once made the Union Minister of Women and Child Development in 2014 in the BJP Government was removed from the position in the recent cabinet reshuffle for some valid reasons. Thus, it can be assumed that Varun might be upset about his mother’s demotion. Moreover, he is also backed by some Congress leaders that direct his exit from BJP. Recently, Hardik Patel, President of Gujarat Congress applauded Varun for his statements on Godse.

While many would dismiss him as an attention seeker, his statements on the recent Lakhimpur Kheri fracas is something that cannot be ignored. Considering the above statements, it is high time that the BJP reflects on their association with the other ‘Gandhis’.
As long as Sonia Gandhi is in Congress, I doubt she will allow Varun Gandhi in Congress. Varun’s mother is the arch-enemy of Sonia Gandhi.
