Tulsi Gabbard’s anti-Islamist terror speech is exactly the kind of aggression the world needs

On 12th September Former US Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard posted a tweet against Islamist violence, which received online hate and trolls from the so-called American progressives. She criticised the Islamist ideology for inspiring the 9/11 attacks in the US along with several terrorist attacks globally.

Tulsi tweeted; “Let us #NeverForget that it was the Islamist ideology which inspired the terrorist attacks and declaration of war against America on 9/11. And it is this Islamist ideology that continues to fuel terrorist attacks around the world and …”

She further added that it is the Islamist ideology that fueled terrorist attacks around the world and is the foundation for the so-called ‘Islamic’ countries like Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia and their discriminatory policies against the Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Atheists.

Her tweet heated Twitter like a warzone as became the target of the so-called progressives in the United States of America and they trolled her online.

One Twitter user tweeted; “Has there been any soul-searching among the small, vocal contingent who tried to position this obvious lunatic as the principled anti-imperialist candidate?”

Another Twitter user tweeted; “That is not fair though to blame an entire religion over a handful of extremists.There are plenty of Christian extremists in America, but that should not make us look down on the entire religion.”

One Twitter use questions her regarding her previous contradictory stance which was against Trump and pro-minorities including Muslims.

David Weissman, a Liberal Democrat, also commented that it was not Islamic Ideology but extremism that should be made responsible for the terrorist attacks and that Gabbard owes an apology to the Muslim community for her hate, He tweeted; “What has gotten into you? This is not Islamic ideology, it’s extremism and you owe the Muslim community an apology for your hate.”

Previously, Tulsi Gabbard had often spoken about various issues in India, she also spoke in favour of the persecuted Hindu Bengalis in Bangladesh. Gabbard criticised and condemned the Bengali Hindu genocide by the Pakistan Army and called upon the world to act against Islamist extremism. She also mentioned the attacks on Hindu Temples in Bangladesh during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the country. She stood against the inherent liberal bias of tech companies like Google, Facebook and others, through her campaign committee she even sued tech giant Google for $50 million and alleged it was trying to ‘silence her’.

Gabbard is well known for her strong stance against Islamist terrorism despite receiving repeated attacks from the left-liberals and so-called progressives of the US who term her as a ‘Hindu fascist’. Her sharp attack against Islamist ideology is the kind of aggression the world needs, against Islamic terrorism.
