The MK Stalin government in Tamil Nadu has decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of anti-Hindu bigot and Dravidar Kazhagam founder ‘Periyar’ E.V. Ramasamy as ‘Social Justice Day’. Periyar, who gave rise to the Dravidian politics and harboured dreams of killing Brahmins in the garb of a supposed ‘progressive’ movement continues to be revered by the seemingly brainwashed Tamilians.

BJP, still looking to forge its independent identity in Tamil Nadu politics was expected to mount an offence against the decision but instead, the party folded tamely. BJP floor leader Nainar Nagenthran (from Tirunelveli) said his party welcomed Stalin’s announcement in the House.
Periyar, a racist, plain and simple
According to Marxist and liberal historians, Periyar was a social activist who wanted to ‘dissolve India of the tyrannies of Brahmanism, caste prevalence and women oppression’. While the idea looks perfectly utopian on paper, the reality was far from it. Periyar’s stance had not been to rectify the caste system or to abolish it; his vendetta had been against Brahmins as a community. Simply put, Periyar was a vile, miserable, indignant, racist slob who only wanted to see the decimation of Hindus.
Periyar at the peak of his racist movement kept making it clear that Brahmins are irredeemable due to their virtue of being born a Brahmin. For instance, in an interview, it was asked, “Do you mean to say that Brahmins, by the very fact that they were born Brahmins, can never have honest intentions?” Periyar responded, “I do. They can never have honest intentions.”
On one occasion he stated, “To destroy caste discrimination burn the pictures of Nehru and Gandhi and also the Constitution of India. If all these methods fail to give us results, then we should start beating and killing the Brahmins; we should start burning their houses.”
Desecrating Hindu gods, spreading lies about Indian texts
In 1953, while organising agitations for the desecration of Ganesha idols, Periyar stated, “We have to eradicate the gods who are responsible for the institution which portrays us as Sudras, people of low birth, and some others as Brahmins of high birth. While the former go on toiling, without any education, whereas the latter can remain without exerting themselves. We have to break the idols of these gods. I start with Ganesa because it is he who is worshipped before undertaking any task.”
Periyar has spread numerous canards about the Ramayana. All his lies were directed towards slandering the Maryada Purshottam. His lies ranged from accusing Shri Rama of being casteist to claiming that he killed and mutilated women. According to him, the Ramayana and Mahabharata were written by ‘cunning Aryans’ to erase the ‘Dravidian identity.

Periyar ‘Misogynist’ Ramasamy
In a piece in Viduthala (Freedom), DK (Predecessor of DMK and AIADMK)’s official newspaper, he makes a high misogynist assertion, “Had the British continued for another ten years, more than half of the Brahmin women would have been ours and Tamils would have been their husbands and the dominating caste would have been destroyed [by] more than half. Only after Brahmin women had started chasing our boys did the Brahmin men become very angry with the British.”
Dravidian philosophy, a much sinister design
The whole Dravidian movement is based on hatred against one community and one religion. In starting, it was radical enough to ask for a division of India and separate statehood for the states of the South. However, since it didn’t work out, the radical element has moderated but the Periyarites are still a frenzied and bigoted lot.
As reported by TFI, with the unprecedented rise of Christian missionaries and Islam in Tamil Nadu, one finds its roots in the Dravidian movement. The Dravidian ideology in its essence is a design manifested by the Church in close coordination with Periyar to systematically destroy Hinduism.
The origins of this divide lie in the failure of the Christian Church to introduce Christianity in massive swaths as it imagined it should have in India, under 250-300 years of Christian British Rule.

As for Islam, Periyar once wrote about the Hijab, stating it was a ‘visual prison in the name of religion’. However, after facing a massive backlash from the community, he changed tunes and said, “If, to shun the religion that imposes untouchability on them, Ambedkar and his followers turn to Islam for succour rather than to atheism, we would not have any objections to it.”
DMK and its love for Periyar
Reported extensively by TFI, Stalin’s DMK has been infamous for its anti-Hindu and anti-Brahmin bigotry in the garb of Dravidian ideology. This anti-Hindu stance is amply clear from the statements of late DMK President M. Karunanidhi who said, “Lord Rama is a drunkard“. The late DMK patriarch had also remarked that the term ‘Hindu’ means ‘thief’. He stated, “Who is a Hindu? You must ask Periyar EVR. A good man would say the word Hindu means a thief.”
We know today that the Aryan Invasion theory is bust, and was a creation of the west to divide India, furthered by people like Periyar. But it is interesting to note that the other Southern States of Andhra/Telangana, Karnataka & Kerala do not identify themselves as Dravidians as much as the state of Tamil Nadu. Andhrites & Kannadigas identify themselves as Aryans rather than Dravidians. And Keralites identify themselves as descendants of the Aryan Asura King Bali Chakravarti (Mahabali), grandson of Prahlad in whose honour the festival of Onam is celebrated.
The presence of temples and Hindu customs is thus an impediment in the quest of imposing Christianity and the racist divide of the abhorrent Dravidian philosophy. There is a reason why Temples are looked down upon by the DMK government and razed whenever the administration gets the chance. There is a reason why Temples have been in the clutches of the government that has seemingly leased them out to be marauded by Christian missionaries.
Periyar was an anti-Hindu, anti-Brahmin bigot who deserves to be criticised not lauded. However, with the Stalin government in power and BJP not objecting, one doesn’t see the decision being reversed.

Please also do an article of how Stalin in an attempt to stick to his Periyar ideals has banned worship of Vinayagar for Vinayagar Chaturthi but has allowed churches mosques tasmacs bars and all to be open with police protection. Periyar didn’t have the guts to criticize Islamic terrorism.
DMK and Periyar are all crooks. They came to power for money, more power and to help tehselves. Nothing to help the Tamil people. You are right Tamils are so dumb and have been brainwashed. Time has come for Tamils to leave the concept of Dravidian and forbe ahead as Hindus. All Crypto Christians and Muslims that was converted must be recoverted back or leave the country once and for all.
Yes, Aryan invasion theory has no scientific basis. Ambedkar is much more intelligent than Periyar. And he rejected Aryan theory ,embraced Buddhism which is an Indian religion. Not Oslam or Christianiry. Periyar wanted more partition of India. Bcz something has happened in past doesn’t mean we would blame present day Brahmins. Society is revolving and reforming. We should be inclusive and tolerant to others. And thus India is United against wishes of Periyar. To keep alive the dynasty Stalin wants to created that hatredness. So destroy dynasties from Indian politics . These dynasties r major impediments in path of democracy.
