In the parliamentary constituency of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav, Hindus are putting up posters saying their houses are on sale because of the fact that they are being forced to flee by the radical Muslim community of the area which is leaving no stone unturned to harass the members of the Kori community. After a 13-year-old girl went missing, the Muslims of Kusmara town of Mainpuri went on a rampage. A strong mob of Islamists 50-60 conducted illegal searches in the houses of Hindu families at midnight recently.
It was after these searches and harassment by the Muslim community that five people of the Kori community put up posters outside their house to flee and sell the house. On receiving information about the same, the police reached the spot and asked the people present in the houses about the reason for them fleeing. The police were able to convince the Hindus that they are safe and need not sell their houses.
The Hindu members of the town have said that the daughter of one Ghiyasuddin was found in Delhi. Despite the girl being found, about 50-60 Muslims entered the house on Wednesday night and searched for the girl violently. Everyone in the house, including women, were very scared, as per a report by Amar Ujala.
Local women have demanded that they should be allowed to live peacefully and with dignity, failing which, there is no option for them but to leave their houses. They demanded justice. A girl said that while all the people of the house were sleeping and no one was aware of anything, the Muslim mob entered the houses and started searching.
The Kori community falls under the Scheduled Castes. There is, of course, no outrage by the usual liberal lunatics who otherwise jump on at every opportunity to amplify atrocities committed against the members of the Dalit community. Since the victims, in this case, happen to be Hindus who have been harassed by radical Muslims – nobody seems to care.
Reported by TFI earlier this month, days after Hindus in the Noorpur village of Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh were forced to put up ‘On Sale’ sign in front of their homes and flee the village, owing to the harassment meted by the minority community, a similar incident had emerged from Izzat Nagar area of Bareilly. According to an Amar Ujala report, a young woman in the village had accused a Muslim man of molesting her by entering her house.
Radical Muslims then took to stepping up aggression against Hindus, forcing them to sell their property and leave the village in hordes. Reported by TFI, on May 26, when a baraat procession of a villager named Omprakash and his daughters was passing through the Noorpur village near the mosque, some miscreants of the Muslim community came out and started pelting stones on the procession, vandalising it and injuring multiple Hindu ‘baraatis’ in the process.
Islamists in Uttar Pradesh must be taught a stern lesson. The frequency of them harassing, assaulting and misbehaving with Hindus is on the rise. Authorities will be well advised to ensure that such incidents do not occur, failing which, radical Muslims will be successful in stoking communal violence in the state.
