The era of cracking down on anti-India forces is truly here as PM Modi and Amit Shah punish them one after the other

A rather underreported and largely unnoticed feat of the current government is that its foundations, which are rooted in nationalism and devotion for India and Bharat Mata, are playing a tremendous role in ensuring that the devious plans of a few anti-national elements are not allowed to fructify. In more instances than one can recount, the Modi-Shah double engine has nipped anti-India elements in the bud itself, which is a big reason why liberals and leftists have been relentlessly ranting against the BJP government without substance or merit. The reality is, intoxicated ideologues of violent theologies, whether they be of Communism or Islamism, are being dealt with incredibly by the Modi government.

The recent arrests made by the Delhi Police of those involved in the January 26 violence, and also those who were at the forefront of waging an information war against India globally speaks volumes about the unflinching motivation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to bring anti-India elements to the task. Disha Ravi might be a 21-year-old ‘vegan’ activist. However, for waging a ‘Defame India’ campaign against her country, which happens to be ruled by the BJP right now, she will most definitely have to face consequences. Age, gender or sexual preferences will have no bearing on the crackdown which awaits such elements for acting against India’s interests.

Maoists and Naxals too, are being given the same treatment. In fact, the Indian government under the leadership of PM Modi and the vision of Amit Shah has earned quite a reputation for itself by dealing with anti-India elements in an unprecedented manner, which has made the criminals despise the day they took up battles against the Indian state. Take, for instance, those guilty of stoking the violence at Bhima-Koregaon in 2018, and how they have been dealt with irrespective of their coterie and global support systems asking for mercy and wagging the victim card in the Indian judiciary’s face.

In fact, Gautam Navlakha – prime accused in the Bhima Koregaon violence case was paid over 20.53 lakh rupees by NewsClick. According to the investigations by the ED, left-leaning media portal, NewsClick was used as a money-laundering agency, with 30 crores in cash having been laundered by the organisation. NewsClick might be a “media organisation”. But for its anti-India machinations, it will now have to face severe consequences.

To be precise, the identification of anti -India elements began in the winter of 2016, when Umar Khalid and his gang of JNU freeloaders were, perhaps for the very first time, challenged and stopped from conducting seditious demonstrations freely. Umar and his gang, comprising of Kanhaiya Kumar, Shehla Rashid and Anirban Bhattacharya, among other lesser-knowns, were exposed back then for organising a remembrance of what according to them, was the so-called “unjust” execution of Afzal Guru, a terrorist who was involved in the terror attack on the Indian Parliament in 2001.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) was also exposed as a den of radical leftists and anti-India entities only in 2016, two years after PM Modi assumed power. Never before was toxic student activism and politics of Indian campuses exposed before, like it was in 2016 and subsequent years. There is a growing sense of aversion to over-the-top student activism, courtesy of the 2016 JNU fiasco and all other incidents which followed on Left-dominated campuses across India. The BJP government’s handling of the situation also ensured that the issue does not fade from public memory easily.

During the Northeast Delhi riots of last year, Umar Khalid, Tahir Hussain and other anti-India elements and Islamists had worked overtime to destroy Hindu lives and livelihoods. Subsequently, both were arrested and now face charges under UAPA. Sharjeel Imam – the pioneer of the Shaheen Bagh demonstrations who aimed at cutting off Northeast India from the mainland is also being accorded the same treatment. Speaking of the Northeast, Akhil Gogoi has been put in his place, i.e., behind bars for having Maoist connections and for stoking violence on ethnic grounds during the 2019 anti-CAA agitation in Assam.

The Modi government has been working tirelessly to rid of anti-nationals. The word anti-national is not a taboo. We must not shy away from using it for people who seek to ruin India. PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are not shying away from showing such people their place, and Indians must not go on a defensive mode in face of aggression by liberals and leftists. The fight against anti-India elements must continue with full force, even while they continue carrying out their agenda from the sidelines.

Quoting from your article , ………. Subsequently, both were arrested and now face charges under UAPA …………..

Yes , all will face charges and Courts will give them Bail (for lifetime) . That’s the end of that case.

Don’t glorify Modi and Shah too much. They are applying balms to the problem that needs surgery.

It is like his bringing back Black money promise .

I think Modi-Shah are slow-but-steady and we can see this with Delhi riots case as most of its accused are behind bars and rarely any main accused has gotten bail. Moreover, the chances of the accused being released is so dismal that their supporters had to ask for their release during present protests. Now, its a different thing that most farmer protestors are facing the same charges and it needs to be seen how they will arrange for their acquittal. Will they plan another protest? If yes, then who will ensure that those protestors will not fall in the same pit. Its like the people who were trying to help have themselves fallen into that pit. Maybe, when labor reforms are implemented they will try something.

I am truly impressed by the way Amit Shah has played his hand. I think this time they are in REAL trouble and only SC can save them. Most of these farmer leaders will be in jail by November and the action may be more swift if BJP wins Bengal. The only problem is that nobody is getting convicted, but that’s how Indian justice system works.
