Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday took a section of anti-India youth to the cleaners, who are working overtime to defame their own country and destabilise their government. PM Modi, while speaking at the annual convocation of Visva-Bharati University in West Bengal through video conference, called upon the nation’s youth to adopt a ‘nation first’ approach in all that they do. A small step in the said direction could be taken by the youth, according to the Prime Minister, if they were to help farmers and artisans of nearby villages and towns find global markets.
Make no mistake, PM Modi was clearly differentiating between the skilled youth of the country and those whose only job was to slur, defame and act against India. The Prime Minister’s address came in the backdrop of anti-India activists like Disha Ravi, Nikita Jacob and others singing like canaries before the Delhi Police, detailing how they worked against the interests of India under the garb of the fake farmers’ protests.
Prime Minister Modi said that those spreading terror and violence across the world are several highly educated people and that instead of being a part of the solution, they are the problems the world is faced with.
PM Modi said, “Jo duniya mein aatank faila rahe hein, jo duniya mein hinsa faila rahe hein, unmein bhi kayee highly skilled, highly learned, highly educated log hain. Doosri taraf aise bhi log hai jo Corona jaise vaishwik mahaamari se duniya ko mukti dilane ke liye din-raat apni jaan ki baazi laga dete hai. Aspatalon mein datey rehte hein, prayogshalaaon mein jutey rehte hain.” (“Among those who are spreading terror in the world, those who are spreading violence in the world, there are also several highly educated, highly learned, highly skilled people. On the other side, there are also those who risk their lives day and night to free the world of the pandemic. They stay firm in hospitals, keep working in labs.”)
The fundamental issue, Prime Minister Modi said, was not of the ideology of such youthful individuals, but of their inherent mindset and whether it is positive or negative.
“Whether you want to become a part of the problem or solution, it is in your hands to decide. If we use the same strength, the same smartness, the same intelligence, the same talent for the good, there will be one result, if we use them for bad deeds, the result will be something else…If your allegiance is to Ma Bharati, then your decisions, your way of life and action will be geared in one way or the other towards a solution,” PM Modi said.
PM Modi’s speech at Visva-Bharati University is a clear indication to anti-India elements, who hide behind the shroud of ‘youthfulness’ to get their acts straight because once the law gets to them, there will be no mercy shown irrespective of the liberal outrage from around the world.
