The Communist government of Kerala is passing all limits of authoritarianism with every passing day. The news of the killing of people adhering to Hindutva ideology by the workers of the Communist Party is very common in the state, but now the Communist government has itself punished a Hindu activist.
RV Babu, leader of a Hindu outfit named Hindu Aikya Vedi, who called for a boycott of the Halal products (prepared as per Islamic rituals) has been held by the Kerala government. “A case was registered on January 29 but since he had not appeared despite notice, we arrested him. He has been released on bail on condition that he will appear before the court on February 8. Babu had through social media too urged the people to boycott the halal certification,” said the police.
K Surendra, the President of Bhartiya Janata Party, has come out openly in support of RV Babu. “Is Kerala an Islamic state to foist police case against those who speak against ‘Halal’. The CPM and the Kerala Chief Minister are trying to appease Islamic fundamentalists and this has been continuing in the state for several years,” said Surendran to news agency IANS.
Surendran also alleged that the Kerala government has arrested Babu to appease Islamic fundamentalists in the state. “The CPM is aiming at the ensuing assembly elections and this is blatant appeasement of the Islamic fundamentalists,” he added.
Kerala is being run by a true Communist regime and any criticism of the CM Pinarayi Vijayan or his political constituency (Islamists and Christians) is deemed a punishable offence. There are hundreds of police cases on individuals posting content critical of the Kerala CM.
A reply document uploaded on the website of the Kerala Legislative Assembly shows that cases have even been registered against 12 state government/semi-governmental employees and one central government employee. So far a total of 119 cases have been slapped on people for posting objectionable content against Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan. Out of the total 119 cases, 106 cases were filed against people who were non-government employees.
The Halal meat industry is ‘of the Muslims, by the Muslims but for everyone’. In many countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, and India, a tiny Muslim minority has forced the majority community to adhere to their practices and standards. The same is even evident in Kerala where a Hindu activist was jailed for calling for the boycott of Halal products.
The Muslim community has already monopolised the non-vegetarian food industry and forced lower caste and class of Hindus to go unemployed. Even vegetarian food units are being asked to get the Halal certification if they want a smooth run without facing a boycott from the Muslims, even though all vegetarian food is Halal (pure) as per the Quran. In a country where a majority of consumers are non-Muslims, Halal food is being forced down their throats, thanks to cartelisation, fundamentalism, and the unity among Muslims.
In the last few months, many Hindu outfits and individuals have raised questions over Halal products being pushed down their throats. But the authoritarian Communist government of Kerala doesn’t like to hear the voice of Hindus and is either putting the activists in jail or harassing them.
Hindus- all talk no action. Why didn’t surendran and other BJP and HAV leaders announce that they will call for boycott of Halal products in support of Babu ? They are afraid of PV.
