Harris Park in Sydney witnessed a bloody brawl after a Khalistani sympathiser took to TikTok to post anti-India videos which were strongly objected by a Haryanvi which ensued an organised bloody brawl and resulted in the main culprit, Jassi getting gravely injured.
When Jassi, a Khalistani, started posting anti-India content on TikTok, a Haryanvi strongly objected to the videos and engaged in a video war. This led to an organised brawl after both the persons managed to convince their friends for a group fight in Harris Park, Sydney.
The Khalistanis or the pro-Khalistani group, as expected, raised the slogans of Khalistan Zindabad with the brawl resulting in both the sides sustaining multiple injuries with the main culprit, Jassi reportedly being hit badly.
The fight between the Khalistanis and Haryanvis hasn’t finished as the video war is still going on with Jassi claiming that he and his group will beat any Haryanvi provided they find him alone.
Punjabi singer Kamal Choudhary narrated the entire episode on social media and concluded with a passionate appeal as he said, “We all are here on Indian passports, filling all the forms here with nationality as “Indian”, to make some living by working hard, to get educated in one of the best colleges, to live in one of the best countries in the world and yet we cannot get rid of these separatist thoughts is shameful.”
Nitin Setia, a business owner, was quoted as saying to 9News that, “It was not good what has happened. It’s really bad for the community here.” It is feared that such hooliganism will spoil the image of the community in Australia.”
9News reports that leaders from the Punjabi and Haryanvi community have stepped in to defuse the situation with community member Amar Singh saying, “This does not represent our community.”
Sydney Police is currently examining the footage and so far, no arrests have been made.
After receiving good beating Khalistani Jassi changed his tune. Now he says he will beat any Haryanvi provided he finds him “alone”. :-)
