Ever since the trailer of Sadak 2 had dropped, the movie is breaking all records possible, albeit for all the wrong reasons. After Sadak 2’s trailer became the second most disliked video on YouTube with 12 million dislikes, Sadak 2 has now achieved an impressive feat of becoming the lowest-rated movie in the history of IMDb.
Such is the talent of Mahesh Bhatt that not even an impressive star cast could save his poor film as the overall score of the film on IMDb stands at just 1 after recording over 37,000 votes by the platform’s users. This is quite an impressive feat as the platform asks its users to rate a film on a scale from 1 to 10. Sadak 2, quite literally couldn’t fall any lower.
Mahesh Bhatt has donned the director’s hat after a gap of two decades with a movie starring Bhatt’s daughter Alia, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is safe to say that the movie has failed to impress its viewers.
Those who dared to watch the movie have severely panned the movie, with one IMDb user stating that “If there would have 0 ratings, I would have given that. Totally waste.” Another user said, “Mr Mahesh Bhatt has become senile and it shows in every frame.”
One user was left speechless as the user wrote, “This is a total ridiculous movie with the worst plot and there wasn’t even a minute that this movie could be enjoyed. No story, no character development nothing whatsoever.”
Users on the platform seemed to unanimously agree that the film is utter garbage which must be avoided. It is pertinent to note that over 37,000 users have reviewed the movie on IMDb which is a sizeable chunk and can’t be claimed that the poor score of the movie is the handiwork of just some trolls.
What’s more astonishing is, the fact that even the defenders of the Bollywood cabal who have made a name for themselves by generously reviewing Bollywood movies, also found Sadak 2 unbearable to watch.

Rohit Vats went as far as claiming that one should fake an injury if that is what it takes to avoid watching the disastrous film.
The unfortunate demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has expectedly also played a part in Sadak 2 being pelted as Indians are in no mood to allow the products of nepotism to continue to have their way in Bollywood. However, Sadak 2 has proved to be exceptionally below par and now has to face the ignominy of being the lowest-rated film in the history of IMDb.
