To expect Congress scion Rahul Gandhi for once to take a pro-India stance even for the matters of national security is to expect the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping to shun communism. At a time when the world is siding with India as India and China are at the brink of a war, Rahul Gandhi’s actions are severely harming India’s interests. On July the 3rd, Rahul tweeted a video, which showed local Ladakhis slamming Prime Minister Modi as they claimed that China has intruded and occupied Indian territory in Ladakh. Turns out, Rahul Gandhi passed off Congress functionaries as local Ladakhis in a desperate bid to corner the Modi government.
If one started writing about how Rahul Gandhi and the Indian National Congress have worked to the detriment of India, one would end up writing an encyclopedia. The Wayanad MP gleefully took the opportunity amidst the rising tensions between India and China to corner the Modi government as he directly pandered to the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda.
On July 3, Rahul tweeted a 3-minute-long video with the caption, “Ladakhis say: China took our land. PM says: Nobody took our land. Obviously, someone is lying.” The video which saw ‘Ladakhis’ bashing Prime Minister Modi for allowing China to occupy substantial Indian territory in Ladakh. Rahul true to his characteristics, passed off local Congress functionaries as Ladakhis which only further exposes his anti-India intentions.

It has now come to light that at least 5 people shown in Rahul’s video are either Congress functionaries or are linked to the party. In the video, a certain Dorjay Gyalston can be seen saying how China is stealing India’s land is in fact the working president of Leh’s District Youth Congress.
Namgyal Durbuk is a notorious ex-Congress councilor who also appeared in British Publication, The Guardian’s hit job on India where not only did he falsely claim that China has occupied substantial Indian land with the localities living in fear but also claimed that in the span of 20 years, entire Ladakh will end up becoming a Chinese territory. Durbuk has also featured in Rahul’s videos where he can be seen making tall claims.
Another person seen in the video is Dr Ishey Namgyal who is in fact the President of Ladakh municipal committee. Tundup Nibu who vociferously propagated the party’s propaganda in the video is the General Secretary of Indian Youth Congress, Ladakh.
Much has been written about Rahul’s lack of knowledge, but it seems that he needs serious lessons in Geography. A certain Sachin Mirupa who according to Rahul is a ‘Ladakhi’ also featured in the propaganda driven video. However, Mirupa’s Twitter bio claims that he is the General Secretary NSUI (the student wing of Congress), Himachal Pradesh. Since when did Himachal Pradesh become a part of Ladakh? I am pretty sure that Rahul wouldn’t be aware that Ladakh is now a Union Territory after the abrogation of Article 370.
It must be noted that even during the Doklam standoff where India gave a befitting lesson to China, Rahul behaved in a way that is unbecoming of an Indian leader as he refused to believe the government and the army and even visited the Chinese embassy as he continued to tow the Chinese line on Doklam. One wonders what would have been discussed between Rahul and the Chinese officials.
Recently, Rahul’s intellect was in full display when he decided to celebrate the Doctors’ Day, he interacted with nurses even though nurses’ Day is celebrated on May 12. It seems that Rahul can’t even differentiate between Doctors and Nurses. Laughably, one of the ‘nurses’ selected to interact with Rahul on the occasion of Doctors Day was a Congress worker. A true-blue Congress worker, Vipin Krishnan appeared as a nurse during the interaction with Rahul.
