Pakistan’s dummy Prime Minister, Imran Khan Niazi, yesterday decided to attempt a social media takedown of India, because obviously that’s the most he can do. Quoting a report by The Express Tribune, a Pakistani publication, Niazi declared that 34% of Indian households would not be able to survive more than a week without additional assistance from the government’s side.
The report titled, “84% Indian households suffered a decrease in monthly income since lockdown,” was based on a study carried out by ‘alleged’ experts at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, and the Mumbai-based Centre for Monitoring the Indian Economy (CMIE).
In a series of tweets, both in English as well as Urdu, Imran Khan went on like a child gleefully conveying to his braindead citizenry how India’s poor were at the receiving end of a stringent lockdown and were entirely dependent on aid from the government’s side for their survival. However, that is not the news. The news, in fact, is that Imran Khan had offered to help India in taking care of its citizens, and that he was willing to share his “successful cash transfer” scheme with India. Niazi claimed that “his government” transferred Rs. 120 billion in nine weeks to over 10 million families in Pakistan, in a “transparent manner” no less.

Imran Khan Niazi, meanwhile, had himself initiated the process of being lambasted by India right, left and centre, and the chump was definitely shown his place. The Ministry of External Affairs minced no words when it called out Niazi’s bluff, stating that India’s economic stimulus pack announced last month is as large as the GDP of Pakistan.

Taking down the joke of a Prime Minister called Imran Khan, MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivastava reminded the bankrupt nation that it is operating under 90% debt. He added, “Pakistan is better known for making cash transfers to bank accounts outside the country rather than giving to its own people. Clearly, Imran Khan needs a new set of advisers and better information… As far as India goes, our stimulus package is as large as the GDP of Pakistan.”
As of June 2019, Pakistan’s gross external debt stood at a staggering $103.6 billion. Meanwhile, the Pakistan government’s public debt rose to Rs. 33.4 trillion only recently. In a noble initiative, Javed Miandad, former Pakistani cricketer had called upon his countrymen to donate to a bank account which he would be opening, the collections of which would be used to pay Pakistan’s debts. He had also stated that the IMF would take away Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal soon if the debts were not cleared in the near future.
As such, for Pakistan’s puppet Prime Minister Imran Khan to extend a helping hand to India is a rather cruel joke on his country, for India took this opportunity to lambast the man and embarrass him. It would have been quite a sight, however, had the Indian government accepted Niazi’s offer. How he would ‘help’ India would be a grand spectacle in itself.
