India’s fight against COVID-19 suffered a massive blowback when a number of Muslims who had tested positive for the disease were linked back to a single source in Delhi’s Nizamuddin. The Tablighi Jamaat congregation, which was organized in complete violation of laid guidelines back then is said to have been attended by 8000 individuals, leading to a massive number of cases being attributed to the said event.
Naturally, the nation as a whole was infuriated by the sheer callousness and indifference of both the organizers of the congregation, as well as the attendees, who went about hopping across the length and breadth of India, spreading the disease indiscriminately. Almost instantly, many began alleging ‘Islamophobia’ to be the reason behind the people of this country pointing out, rightfully so, the criminal negligence’s of the Tablighi Jamaat.
Having been made fully aware of their crime against humanity, the Tablighi Jamaat members are now in full damage-control mode, trying to rectify the mess they have pushed us as a country into. There are numerous news reports which have brought to light the enthusiasm among members of the Tablighi Jamaat to donate their blood plasma, for it to be used in “plasma therapy” against COVID-19.
While this might, from a suitable distance, look like a commendable and noble initiative, in reality it is not more than a brazen attempt on their part to go on a conscience-cleaning overdrive for themselves. Further, it is temporarily at least, a lost cause. Here’s why.
In the MoHFW briefing yesterday, the health joint secretary, Lav Agarwal debunked theories of plasma therapy being proven as a formidable treatment to the prevailing disease. In fact, he went on to say that anyone employing the said therapy on patients was actually doing so illegally.
“Plasma therapy is in experimental stage but not enough evidence now to claim it can be used as treatment for COVID-19 patients,” Lav Aggarwal said. He added, “It’s still in experimental stage, right now even ICMR is doing it as an experiment to identify and do additional understanding of this therapy. Till it is approved no one should use it, it’ll be harmful to patient and illegal.” Further, he also said that if plasma therapy is not used in a proper manner and with necessary precautions, it can prove to be life-threatening for the patients.

Blood plasma therapy was hailed as a formidable treatment strategy for COVID-19 by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who went on national television to spread half-baked information on a subject he perhaps has no idea about.

When a person gets infected with SARS-COV-2, their immune system responds by creating antibodies, which attack the virus strain. Over time these build up and can be found in the plasma, the liquid portion of the blood. Once the index patient fully recovers, their plasma may be extracted and transfused into the blood stream of an active patient whose immune system is not seen producing as many required antibodies as it should. The transfusion may help stimulate the production of such antibodies, or may substitute their absence. However, in what discredits the ‘Tablighi Jamaat heroes’ campaign, much of the therapy is in the experimental stage, and the rhetoric being paraded around by the likes of Kejriwal and liberals is nothing but pure conjecture.
Liberals and closet Islamists are particularly enthused by the idea of plasma therapy, as they can now heavily report on how Muslims, only those belonging to the Tablighi Jamaat are in fact stepping forward and providing their plasma to treat numerous patients across the country. This, of course, after the same Jamaati’s are much to be credited for inducing within India, the kind of numbers we see today.
After all the anger we’ve subjected to the #TableeghiJamaat – let’s also acknowledge them for their good deeds.
Jamaatis in different cities who’ve recovered are donating blood for #PlasmaTherapy to help us cure COVID19 patients- doing their bit.
Together, we shall overcome.

While many want to portray the Tablighi Jamaat members as superheroes coming to India’s rescue, the reality is that the entire “plasma donation” charade is an ill-timed PR stunt, aimed at making martyrs out of those who should instead be made to answer questions. There are umpteen reports available of Jamaati’s making the lives of medical staff and healthcare workers a living hell, and even displaying animalistic behaviour inside isolation camps.
Nobody is willing to buy this crude liberal and Islamo-leftist propaganda just yet. India’s COVID-19 figures would have been very different had it not been for the active participation of the Tablighi Jamaat in causing untamed proliferation of the disease across the length and breadth of the nation.
