“Nothing called Islamic terrorism, only Hindutva Terror is real” Shehla Rashid defines terrorism

Yeah also Elephants have 11 trunks, 27 feet and 1214 tusks

The anti-CAA protests have increasingly become nothing but an Islamist agitation as the thinly veiled mask of Shehla Rashid, Sharjeel Imam and the ilk falls off. It was Shehla Rashid who gave the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act an Islamist spin by furthering the cause of Muslim identity politics.

Rashid has now taken to Twitter to claim that India has no threat of Islamic terrorism in India and the only radical terror threat that the nation faces are the radical Hindu terror outfits.

Rashid took to Twitter to display her radical mindset as she tweeted that: “Okay, someone got to say this. There is literally no threat of Islamic terrorism in India. There are no active Jihadi terror outfits/camps in India. The only problem of terrorism in India today is homegrown radical Hindu terror outfits, and the government is linked to them!!!”

https://twitter.com/Shehla_Rashid/status/1224174959477456896?s=20

It seems that Rashid is playing by the books of Digvijay Singh and Mahesh Bhatt who infamously after 26/11 claimed that RSS was behind the dastardly attacks. It is very likely that had Ajmal Kasab had not been caught alive, the Congress government and its allies would have pinned the blame on RSS. It has almost become a fashion for Muslim fundamentalists like Rashid and opposition parties to claim that Saffron terror exists in India but Rashid has gone a step ahead and claimed that India doesn’t face any threat of Islamic terrorism at a time when the world collectively faces a threat from Islamic terrorism.

Rashid has gone completely crazy and is maybe under some influence as she brazened her tweet out and further claimed that India is becoming another Saudi Arabia. Unsurprisingly, Rashid’s tweet got widespread support from Pakistan as the Pakistanis flocked to her tweet and derided India.

In her home state of Jammu and Kashmir, terror outfits like the JeM, Hizbul and LeT were ruling the roost before the Modi government decided to eliminate the terrorists from the region. It seems that Rashid is suffering from short term memory loss as the Pulwama attacks were certainly not because of radical saffron outfits. According to an Intelligence Report which came out in November, Pakistan has managed to infiltrate 135 terrorists into the Kashmir Valley. It is important to note that Rashid has joined Shah Faisal’s party and if these Muslim fundamentalists were to ever rule in Jammu and Kashmir, the Union Territory will see terrorism blossoming yet again.

At any point of time, India faces an active terror threat from at least 14 Jihadi terror outfits as the likes of IS, Indian Mujahideen, Jamiat-ul-Mujahideen, Students Islamic Movement of India, Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Front, Al-Umar-Mujahideen, Hizb-Ul-Mujahideen, Harkat-Ul-Mujahideen, Tahrik-E-Furqan, Pasban-E-Ahle Hadis(LeT), Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh, Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen India, Mujahideen Hindustan and all its manifestations and Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen (TuM) and all its manifestations all looking to bleed India.

Rashid continues to live in a bubble as the number of pro-IS cases reported in India from 2014 to 2018 is between 180 – 200 with Kerala alone accounting for 40 cases. Contrary to Rashid’s claims, India continues to face an active terror threat from the Jihadi outfits, but the radicals aren’t able to bleed India as the NIA continues to bust their module. In July last year, the NIA identified six Coimbatore youths as part of an IS module. On of the six youths, Azarudeen laid out his plans to carry out attacks in Tamil Nadu during the questioning.“During initial questioning, Azarudeen told us that he had plans to carry out a big attack in Tamil Nadu and Kerala but first wanted to hire more youths who will be ready to take up jihad,” said an official familiar with the investigation. The NIA also seized 300 air-gun pellets and a large number of digital devices, including 14 mobile phones, 29 SIM cards, 10 pen drives, three laptops, six memory cards, four hard disc drives, one internet dongle and 13 CDs and DVDs, besides one dagger and one electric baton from them.

Shehla Rashid, it seems is just frustrated at being a pawn in the larger scheme of things. A common thread in the anti-CAA violence across the country is the radical Islamist organisation- the Popular Front of India (PFI). Intelligence sources have also pointed out the growing influence of PFI in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Mangaluru in Karnataka also witnessed violence in protests against the CAA, leading to the death of two people in police firing over the violent protesters and rioters. It is important to mention here that Mangaluru is located in coastal Karnataka, which is contiguous to neighbouring Kerala, where the PFI is based and has been most active in the recent past. The involvement of the Popular Front of India in anti CAA violence across the country has reignited the demands for outlawing the radical Islamist organisation. Even in the past, its activities have manifested that it acts more like a terror outfit which ought to be banned for its activities. In fact, in 2014 itself the Kerala government had admitted the deep connections of the PFI with the banned terror organisation, Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). In an affidavit filed before the Kerala High Court, the Kerala government had stated that Popular Front of India, is “nothing but a resurrection of the banned outfit Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in another form”. The affidavit had also stated that the most of the former members of the SIMI are now either identified with the Popular Front of India or are at present holding various portfolios in the PFI.

Of course, Marxist Rashid conveniently left out the rampant Naxalism which till date continues to spread terror in eastern India. Shehla Rashid has seen her every ploy spectacularly fail and is now becoming a liability for the opposition parties as they now search for a new poster boy which perhaps has made Rashid go completely bonkers as she seeks to redefine terrorism.
