After nabbing him from a mosque in Bihar, Delhi police has revealed that mastermind of Shaheen Bagh, Sharjeel Imam wanted to establish an Islamic state in India. Sharjeel Imam had reportedly been arrested by a joint team of Delhi, UP and Bihar police from his ancestral town in Jehanabad, Bihar. Imam, who urged his brethren to cut off north-eastern states from India was arrested while he was hiding inside a mosque.

Around six states had initiated action against Imam for his seditious and venomous speech at Shaheen Bagh protest. According to ANI, “Interrogation has revealed that Sharjeel Imam is highly radicalized and believes that India should be an Islamic state, he has also admitted that no tampering has been done with the videos of his different speeches.”
Delhi police’s revelation has confirmed TFIPOST’s previous reports, in which we had alluded that he was highly radicalised and was forwarding the agenda of Islamists. However, the support he continues to get from the liberal lobby is surprising, it exposes the ideology behind the ‘liberal cause’ in India. Liberals continue to cheer him, with pseudo-intellectual Karan Thapar trying to dilute his offence by saying, “Sharjeel Imam’s call to peacefully block roads connecting Assam to the rest of the country is not sedition. This sort of protest has happened earlier, most notably in Manipur. And Imam was not advocating or inciting violence.”

On the contrary, Imam had given a venomous speech, asking the people to cut off Assam and Northeast India from the rest of the country. “Cutting off Assam is our responsibility. Let Assam and India be separated, only then they will listen to us. You know what the condition of Muslims is in Assam, CAA, NRC has been done over there, people have been thrown in detention camps and well, the massacre is taking place over there but in the next 6-8 months, we will find that all Bengalis have been killed, be it Hindu or Muslim. So, if we want to help Assam, we will have to close the gateway to the northeast.” He added, “The Chicken’s neck belongs to the Muslims, that area is dominated by Muslims.”
This revelation also alludes towards the agenda of the JNU’s leftists, Umar Khalid, Shehla Rashid and Sharjeel, they are all fighting against the democratic Indian state to fulfil their dream of an Islamic state. The liberal lobby too is actively supporting them by disguising their Islamic movement in the guise of ‘dissent’. From its inception, the Shaheen Bagh protest and other anti-CAA protests were directed against the majority community as we have noticed through the Islamic slogans, reciting Faiz and defacing of ‘Swastika’.
The mastermind behind Shaheen Bagh protests and JNU student, has a desire for an Islamic state in India and has failed to even defend his videos wherein he is seen making radical speeches and inciting terror.
As the mindset behind the anti-CAA protest is exposed, the people especially the journalists who have actively painted this as a democratic protest are rattled. However, they will keep justifying and promoting it as it suits their agenda.
