A day after facing restrictions on flying from IndiGo and Air India, Kunal Kamra continued harassing and heckling Arnab Goswami even on his return flight from Lucknow yesterday. According to reports, he was travelling in a GoAir flight this time around.
Kamra himself tweeted on Wednesday morning about how he once again tried to hound the Republic TV Editor-in-Chief. He said, “FYI – Arnab Goswami was in my flight again this morning while returning from Lucknow… I again asked him politely if he wants to have a honest discussion he with his verbal arrogant hand jester he asked me to move away & I did that…”

Only on Tuesday, he was suspended from flying with IndiGo for a period of six months, and also by Air India till further notice. His verbal diarrhoea and unacceptable behaviour had led to a massive outrage against him on social media.
In a video of the incident that Kamra had himself tweeted, he could be seen repeatedly provoking the leading journalist, while the latter chose to ignore Kamra’s senseless taunts and distasteful remarks.

Following his confession about once again confronting and hounding, the unfunny comedian has now been banned even by GoAir. The Airline tweeted, “GoAir has suspended Mr Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice.” In fact, he has also been banned by another private carrier, SpiceJet, which tweeted, “SpiceJet has decided to suspend Mr Kunal Kamra from flying with the airline till further notice.”

With the latest incident, Kamra has yet again shown how he can be a nuisance and cause of major inconvenience to fellow passengers. Such offensive behaviour obviously calls for appropriate fetters on flying.
However, there are even more serious questions that arise here. It cannot be a mere coincidence that Kamra was once again travelling on the same flight in which Goswami was travelling not once but twice, the second time being only a day after creating a commotion in the IndiGo flight that was heading towards Lucknow. This seems more like a case of deliberate stalking.
Kamra has clearly grown even more vindictive after facing an intense backlash on Tuesday and therefore made it a point to intentionally confront and harass Goswami on the return flight.
What happened in the GoAir return flight is not just nuisance, it virtually amounts to a safety scare that must be investigated into. He has been rightly banned by four different Airlines. But the issue might be more serious than just unruly behaviour and only restrictions on air travel might not suffice. The concerned authorities must take him to task for meticulously stalking Goswami and then hounding him in a rather aggressive manner.
