Candle March Brigade that proudly proclaims “No to rape” is crying rivers after the encounter of Hyd rapists

Such double standards

Life liberals, Hyderabad Encounter

Varied reactions started pouring in from various quarters as the Hyderabad police encountered the accused of the Hyderabad rape and murder case. However, the hypocritical outrage of the left-liberals after the encounter is surprising with many of them questioning the courts over delay in proceedings and demanding swift justice.

All four accused in the rape-and-murder case of a 25-year-old woman veterinarian were shot dead in an encounter by the Telangana police during the early hours of Friday. According to the police, the accused were killed in an exchange of fire.

The incident took place early morning on Friday when the accused were taken to the site of the offence for the reconstruction of the crime scene as a part of the investigation, a senior police official told news agencies.

“They (accused) snatched weapons from police and fired on police and tried to escape… police fired in retaliation in which the four accused died,” a senior police official told.

Notably, a veterinary doctor was gang-raped and killed recently, the assailants burnt her body on the outskirts of Shadnagar in Telangana’s Ranga Reddy district. Hyderabad police had arrested four persons, Mohammad Ali alias Mohammad Arif, Jollu Shiva, Jollu Naveen Kumar and Chintakunta Chenna Keshavulu, in connection with the case. The news of the brutal rape and murder left the entire nation outraged, protests held across the nation demanding swift punishment for the perpetrators.

The left-liberals left no stone unturned in abusing the Indian judicial system after this heinous case came to fore however their sudden outrage and outpour sympathy for the accused is distressing.

Liberals such as Rajdeep Sardesai, Nidhi Razdan, Faye DSouza, Sanjukta Basu, Arfa Khanum betrayed their own logic by hypocritically demanding fast track proceedings until today and now are condemning the police action. Sanjukta Basu went even a step ahead questioning that what proof the police had and why the accused were not given a lawyer.

BIG BREAKING: all four Hyderabad rape and murder accused shot dead in ‘encounter’ with cops! What kind of bizarre world are we living in: fast track trigger happy justice no substitute for fast track courts. https://t.co/s8DH9a488D

— Rajdeep Sardesai (@sardesairajdeep) December 6, 2019

Astonishing. Police encounters cannot be normalised like this. We have courts and a legal system for a reason. https://t.co/J8s7EZwQwH

— Nidhi Razdan (@Nidhi) December 6, 2019

‘Award-Winning Journalist (as per her twitter bio) Arfa Khanum Sherwani calls the encounter ‘barbaric’. She tweets, “Don’t cheer the barbaric encounter!Police taking law into their hands and killing the accused is not ‘justice’. No one knows if the arrested people were actual rapists.Any punishment shall be executed only after the due process of law. This will further brutalise our society.”

Sanjukta Basu went on throwing her question tags. She tweeted, “Shocking. What have we become? What proof was there that these were real culprits? Do we have information on investigation and evidence which prove crime beyond doubt? They perhaps didn’t even have a lawyer, didn’t get a hearing. Killed in #Encounter and we are celebrating?”

I am shocked at the 'congratulatory' and rah-rah statements and tweets following the so-called encounter killing of the four accused in the vet's rape and murder. Our bloodlust is frightening.

The hyderabad shootout and the responses to it in the rape and murder of the young veterenarian brings home the utter lack of belief most Indians feel in a broken justice system.

— barkha dutt (@BDUTT) December 6, 2019

People celebrated the police action and expressed satisfaction over the justice meted out to the accused in the heinous case. People have lauded the action of the police of Hyderabad. But of course these liberals belong to some different breed. These liberals went on the street for the candle marches for the justice. This should be noted that these left liberals have fought excessively in order to save the terrorist Yakub Menon from capital punishment persuading the Supreme Court to initiate proceedings at midnight. There selective outrage in the cases of terrorists against cases like Hyderabad one, where the whole country is outraged, must be exposed for the betterment of the people.
