After months of cross-border firing and shelling, and infiltration attempts from the Pakistan side, the Indian Army has struck four terror launch pads in Neelum Valley in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, according to reports. Several fatalities in the destroyed terror camps are expected. 4-5 Pakistan Army soldiers have been killed.
Earlier today, two soldiers and a civilian were killed in a ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, after which India launched retaliatory firing. Now, reports are saying that India has upped the ante and shook Pakistan in the language its terror-sponsoring regime understands best.
According to a statement by the Indian Army, “Indian forces cause heavy damages and casualty to Pakistan after two Indian soldiers and one civilian were killed in ceasefire violation by Pakistan Army in Tangdhar sector (Jammu and Kashmir) today.”
The Indian Army has struck deep into the terrorist camps in POK opposite the Tangdhar sector. The terrorist camps have been actively pumping infiltrators through the border in a bid to give way to its nefarious designs and wreak havoc in Jammu and Kashmir. As winter arrives, Pakistani terror camps, under the patronage of Pakistan Army at the border, have desperately and aggressively increased infiltration bids before the snowy weather slows their terrorist operations down. Ceasefire violations and infiltration attempts have been at an all-time high.
Heavy weapons have been used by the Indian Army including artillery guns. Heavy damage is reported to have been caused to these terror camps.
The developments come a day before Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Bipin Rawat are slated to visit Ladakh for opening a strategic bridge near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China along the Leh-Karakoram road.
Having had enough of this Pakistani military-terrorist nexus, India has struck back deep for the terror breeding country to learn its lesson. Deeply affected by the loss of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, and the subsequent operations against terrorists, Pakistan has been on its toes, reeling from shock. Pakistan PM Imran Khan has been making radical, Jihadi statements in forums as big as the United Nations General Assembly, irking the entire world with his extremist rhetoric.
Earlier in February, India carried out airstrikes on a major terrorist facility in Balakot in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, causing hundreds of casualties. This came as the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack wherein more than 40 Indian soldiers were killed in a terror attack carried out by an Islamist suicide bomber, under the Patronage of Pakistan’s pro-terror regime.
Pakistan has been on the FATF grey list, and has been served a last warning before being blacklisted. Imran Khan’s government has been attempting to avert this crisis by making cosmetic changes, however, the Jihadi terror camps have only bred more, especially near the LOC in PoK with a constant target marked on Jammu and Kashmir.
