Social media is a double-edged sword, it can give you fame in one moment and the other moment, it can make you an object of public ridicule. In times of social media, it is difficult if not impossible to get away with lies and deceit. One of the prominent names from the instant fame generation of ‘woke liberals’ is that of self-proclaimed investigative journalist Rana Ayyub. Ayyub who is known for her vicious digs on PM Modi, Amit Shah, BJP, RSS, and Hindutva is also a compulsive and obsessive fake news peddler. An expert at flashing the victim card, Rana Ayyub also portrays the Muslims of India as hapless victims, who are perennially subjected to cruelty from the majority community with the silent complicity of the dispensation at the center. Ayyub has been exposed many a times in the past by desi supporters of PM Modi but this time she took self-humiliation to a global level.
Rana Ayyub tweeted an article titled “Tulsi Gabbard Refuses Invitation to “Howdy Modi” Event in Texas”.
Tulsi Gabbard refuses invitation to attend Howdy Modi event in Houston..What a turnaround. Where does this leave her Indian fanboys https://t.co/c8O5x7XSSu

The article quotes anonymous sources and explains how Tulsi Gabbard has now started distancing herself from PM Modi, RSS and Hindutva cause after being associated with them for a long time. The article goes on to claim:
Mark in Italics – “Gabbard’s decision to drop out of the event, dubbed “Howdy Modi,” follows on the heels of Congressman Ro Khanna’s statement, issued last month, that “it’s the duty of every American politician of Hindu faith to stand for pluralism, reject Hindutva, and speak for equal rights for Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Christians”
However, lies have a very limited shelf life, and Rana’s lies were punctured by none other than Tulsi Gabbard herself. Tulsi Gabbard categorically stated:
Mark in italics – “This article is misinformed. I’m not attending the Houston event due to previously scheduled presidential campaign events. However, I’m hoping to meet PM Modi on his visit to discuss the importance of maintaining the strong partnership of the world’s oldest & largest democracies.”

PM Modi’s approval ratings have never shown a southward trend ever since the BJP won the historic 2014 elections hence Tulsi Gabbard opting out of a meeting with PM Modi would have made very little difference to his popularity but this looked like a motivated attempt to mar Tulsi Gabbard’s campaign, who is in the race for Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party in the USA. She has been at the receiving end of a vile hate campaign against Hindus in the far-left circles of the United States.
Some wise man once said “It’s good to speak your truth, or someone else will speak it for you!”, it’s encouraging to see Tulsi Gabbard taking it upon herself to puncturing lies and exposing liars in full public view. Also Rana Ayyub leveled up as an international fake news peddler, we must congratulate her on unlocking this level.
