The officials of Islamic Republic of Pakistan have gone completely insane after the Modi government introduced the bill in the parliament to abolish Article 370 and 35A as well as bifurcate the state of Jammu & Kashmir. “The move to abolish Article 35A has left India’s so-called democratic face open to the world. The Kashmir leadership does not agree with India’s decision. India has resurrected the Kashmir problem with its decision,” said Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi stated, “Pakistan condemns & rejects announcements made today by Indian Government regarding Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir. We intend to firmly highlight our stance in our meetings with the US delegation visiting Pakistan and with the International Community at large.”

The Pakistani foreign ministry also released detailed official statement in which it emphasized the previous ‘raag’ of Kashmir being an ‘international issue’ and the interference of third party is required to resolve the issue. “Pakistan strongly condemns and rejects the announcements made today by the Indian Government regarding the Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir,” said the statement released by Pakistan’s foreign office.
“The Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir is an internationally recognized disputed territory. No unilateral step by the Government of India can change this disputed status, as enshrined in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. Nor will this ever be acceptable to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan,” it added.
Pakistan termed the Modi government’s step as ‘illegal’ and said, “As the party to this international dispute, Pakistan will exercise all possible options to counter the illegal steps.”
Previously Pakistan’s government held parliamentary committee meeting to discuss security conditions in the valley. The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting chaired by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan discussed the security forces mobilization by Indian government.
Pakistan has condemned the move by Indian government but the conservative forces in the BJP have asked that taking back Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) should be next in the government agenda. Subramanian Swamy, the senior leader BJP and nominated member of Rajya Sabha has requested the government to bring back PoK on the agenda while he spoke in support of the bill moved by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
“Now we take up the Narasimha Rao’s resolution to take back Pakistan Occupied Kashmir”, Swamy further added. “The State of Jammu & Kashmir has been, is and shall be an integral part of India and any attempts to separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means,” adding, “Pakistan must vacate the areas of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir, which they have occupied through aggression,” reads the resolution moved by Narasimha Rao government’s which was unanimously in 1994.
Coming back to reaction of Pakistan, despite all the protests and complains by the Islamic country to global powers and International forums, no country or organization is going to oppose India’s move. In an article published with the title ‘On Article 370, India hasn’t violated any international treaty. That’s why world won’t react’, defense economist Abhijit iyer Mitra explains why Modi government’s move will not be opposed by any country. According to him, US will not react to the Modi government’s move and most countries except China and Russia will follow its lead.
Therefore, the bankrupt Islamic republic has no ground to oppose Modi government’s courageous move. Now Pak should care about PoK and Gilgit-Baltistan where it is trying to make demographic shift. The Islamic Republic is trying to change the Shia majority Gilgit-Baltistan into Sunni majority through mass settlement of Sunni population.
