Since the Modi government brought the bill to abolish Article 370 and bifurcate the state of Jammu & Kashmir, the Congress party has repeatedly asked, What about Pakistan Occupied Kashmir? In a befitting reply to the ideologically bankrupt party, Amit Shah said, “Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of Union of India. Kashmir ki seema mein PoK bhi aata hai. Jaan de denge iske liye (PoK comes under the boundaries of Kashmir. We will give up our lives for it.”
“When I say Jammu and Kashmir, it includes PoK. Both Indian and J&K constitutions also say that the state is an integral part of India and this gives us the right to form laws for the state, which includes PoK and Aksai Chin,” added Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Chinese government is rattled by the bold statement made by Amit Shah in parliament. The dragon responded by saying that India had “continued to undermine China’s territorial sovereignty by unilaterally changing its domestic law”, and it is “unacceptable” to Beijing.
India immediately responded to China in hard hitting words and said, “The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill 2019, introduced by the government in Parliament on 5 August, which proposes the formation of a new ‘Union Territory of Ladakh’, is an internal matter concerning the territory of India. India does not comment on the internal affairs of other countries and similarly expects other countries to do likewise.”
On the question of undermining China’s territorial sovereignty, India responded with, “So far as the India-China boundary question is concerned, the two sides have agreed to a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable settlement of the boundary question on the basis of the political parameters and guiding principles for the Settlement of India-China boundary question. Pending such a settlement, both sides have agreed to maintain peace and tranquility in the border areas on the basis of the relevant agreements.”
Previously, Subramanian Swamy, the senior leader BJP and nominated member of Rajya Sabha has requested the government to bring back PoK (Pakistan Occupied Kashmir) on the agenda while he spoke in support of the bill moved by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. “Now we take up Narasimha Rao’s resolution to take back Pakistan Occupied Kashmir”, Swamy had said.
“The State of Jammu & Kashmir has been, is and shall be an integral part of India and any attempts to separate it from the rest of the country will be resisted by all necessary means,” adding, “Pakistan must vacate the areas of the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir, which they have occupied through aggression,” reads the resolution moved by Narasimha Rao government’s which was unanimously in 1994.
The Article 370 is scrapped and the state of Jammu & Kashmir in integrated in rest of India but Pakistan Occupied Kashmir and Aksai Chin remain to be part Pakistan and China respectively. More than 50 affiliates of RSS including Muslim Rashtriya Manch will now begin nationwide campaign to reclaim PoK and Aksai Chin. These organizations will organize seminars and take out marches to create awareness among the masses about the region illegally occupied by PoK and China, reported the News Agency ANI.
Through clarification of the government stand on Indian territories illegally occupied by China and Pakistan, Amit Shah gave a befitting reply to Congress, Pakistan and China simultaneously. Amit Shah has made it clear that the government shall actually make efforts to reclaim PoK and Aksai Chin.
