In a horrifying incident, it has been reported that 24 year old Hitesh Mulchandani, a resident of Pune has been brutally murdered after being abducted by five men. Hitesh was murder due to a small tussle over urinating outside the Kunal Bar and Restaurant in Pimpri. Police has booked five persons in this case, including Amin Firoz Khan of Mominpura, Ganj Peth, Shahbaz Siraj Quresh of Kasarwadi, Arbaz Shaikh of Khadki, Akshay Bhosale and one Langda. They were booked under Sections 302, 364, 326, 504 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
Hitesh Mulchandani was a friend of Lakhan Sukheja, cousin of Rohit Sukheja, who lodged a complaint into this case. As per recent reports, Hitesh Mulchandani had gone to the bar with a friend. As per an Indian Express report, one of the accused, Amin Khan, came to the bar at 2 am for buying alcohol. Thereafter, he went out and was urinating outside the bar. One Sahil Lalwani asked him not to urinate in public. Things escalated after Khan got angry and abused Lalwani along with his four accomplices. Later, Khan attacked one Kailas Patil by breaking a beer bottle on his head. Patil was left injured in the incident.
Things took a turn for the worst when the five accused got really violent and thrashed Hitesh. They forced him into an SUV and attacked him with sharp weapons later on. After lynching him to death, they threw him out on the Gandhi Nagar Road behind Pune’s Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. A CCTV footage has been shared by Pune Mirror in which Amin Khan can be seen fighting with Hitesh. This accused must be Amin Khan because as per media reports, it was Khan who had started urinating outside the bar leading to a scuffle with Hitesh Mulchandani. The CCTV footage also includes the part where an SUV arrived at the scene of crime and other accused also started beating up the victim. They can also be seen abducting Hitesh Mulchandani in the CCTV footage.

This shocking murder has brought people in Pimpri suburb of Pune together to demand justice for the 24 year old Hitesh Mulchandani. A massive candle light march took place in the city to pay homage to Hitesh.

Two accused, Akshay Sanjay Bhosale alias Linga (25), a resident of Old Sangvi, and Yogesh alias Langda Vitthal Topmpe (30), have been arrested by the police in this case. The duo was produced in a Pimpri Court in Pune. Police Inspector Rangnath Unde, Investigating Officer in this case has said, “The court remanded the two accused to police custody till July 30 for further investigation.” Search is on for the remaining three accused of murdering the young Hitesh Mulchandani.
