Tashkent Files, a movie directed by Vivek Agnihotri has been attracting viewers continually despite its low screen count. Movie critic Taran Adarsh indicating towards the same had tweeted :

Tashkent files was just released on 160 screens, however it has still managed to do business of more than 4.75 Crores.
The movie stars Naseeruddin Shah, Pallavi Joshi, Shweta Basu, Pankaj Tripathi, Mithun Chakraborty and Vinay Pathak in main roles.
Tashkent files is an apolitical movie which revolves around the mysterious death of Shri Lal bahadur Shastri, who died while in Tashkent for signing the Tashkent Agreement. The Tashkent Agreement, (Jan. 10, 1966), is an accord signed by India’s Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri (who died the next day) and Pakistan’s president Ayub Khan, ending the 17-day war between Pakistan and India of August–September 1965. A cease-fire had been secured by the United Nations Security Council on Sept. 22, 1965.

Due to increased demand from viewers various new centers were added for the movie screening. Despite lesser screens and conspiracies to defame the movie, movie has been soaring and getting positive reviews from the viewers. Largely promoted by word of mouth and reviews over social media has kept the number of viewers consistent. Momentum Gained during the weekends is surely going to push through the weekdays as well.
