The top leader from Pakistan occupied Kashmir (Pok), Sardar Shaukat Ali Kashmiri exposed Pakistan’s lies to a foreign media and diplomats about the Blalakot strike by India. Ali said that Pakistan is a state that hides information from its own people. The Pok leader was talking about the opaque administrative system that is prevalent in Pakistan. He also spoke of how Pakistan and its government are full of false claims.
Shaukat Ali brings out a very important point in the conversation. The leader questions that public places like a Madrasa should be within the premises of an area where there is more population. Why would a state or an entity build a madrasa that is excluded from the population? This is indeed an important question to ask the Pakistani government. He further added that these madrasas are attended by the poor boys and girls who live in small and crowded streets. This particular madrasa was not only located at an inaccessible hill top, the population in the particular area is too scarce.

While Mr. Ali said that he does not have any grudges or discontent from the people of Pakistan and he wishes all good for the people of the state, he is not sure how credible the Pakistani government is. He however does not deny the fact that Pakistan has blatantly lied to the foreign diplomats. He said that initially Pakistan took some witness to the air strike location in Balakot to prove that no such high causalities were caused because of the air strike. Later, when it failed to convince the global players of the fact that India’s retaliation was not effective, it took the high profile journalist and foreign diplomats to the locations of air strike via helicopters. Pak Government tried to prove that the airstrike did not achieve its objective.
In the interview Sardar Shaukat Ali further added that government of Pakistan is full of lies and false claims. In order to establish that India and its armed forces had failed to harm the security of Pakistan borders, the Pak officials showed the diplomats and the journalists the madarsa building which stood firm and unharmed, apparently proving that India and its mission completely failed. This on the other hand according to the Pok leader is not true.
Pakistan has always been hiding important information and kept feeding lies to the foreign media and diplomats. According to Shaukat Ali, leaders of Pakistan are devoid of common sense and do not analyze the situations before giving statements on international platforms. They couldn’t analyse the fact that madarsas are visited daily and they cannot be in a secluded place. A state that does not bring out information about the attacks in their own country cannot be trusted to reveal facts about major missions carried out by other countries to weed out terrorism on their grounds.
