The 2017 Lethpora and Pulwama accused Nisar Ahmed Tantray , a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist has finally been deported from Saudi Arabia. The convict had escaped to the UAE on the 1st of February and was brought back by the Indian government on the 31st of March. The above news has been reported by the National Investigation agencies. It is another feather in the Modi Government’s hat, which has been working tremendously well in giving such terrorists the fate they deserve.
Nisar Ahmed Tantray is the younger brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Noor Tantray Mohammad. Jaish-e-Mohammed has been involved in major attacks on the Indian Armed Forces, the recent one being the 14th February attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama. This act of the NIA’s is a step ahead in fighting growing terrorism in the Kashmir Valley. This has also posed a great threat not only for the citizens but also military personnel deployed in Kashmir. This indeed is a moment to commemorate, as it is also the victory of the investigating agencies.
The NIA official said “Nisar Ahmed Tantray was flown in on a special aircraft from Dubai on Sunday and arrested by the NIA at the Delhi airport.” Nisar has been listed as one of the main conspirators of the Lethpora attack. The agencies had provided information to the UAE authorities, to pin down the culprit and hence through this piece of information the UAE authorities were able to grab hold of the accused.
In 2017, 5 soldiers and two gunmen were killed as the militants stormed inside a CRPF camp in the Lethpora district of Pulwama. There were few others injured and the responsibility of the attack was thus owned by JeM. The two brothers are also the brain behind the recruitment of militants. The reports have also proven that the recent Pulwama attack operator was also appointed by Noor Mohammad.
The achievement is also an indication of the increasing cooperation that the country and it’s agencies for security now receives from the West Asian Countries. It also marks, the promise made by the crown prince of Saudi, Mohammad Bin Salman, in his visit to India in February.
The success of the Modi government in curbing growing terrorist infiltration is evident through the plethora of arrests made. In the past the government has also succeeded in capturing the most wanted mastermind, Noor Mohammad, who was the main executor of the 2017 Lethpora attack. The operator who was involved in the Pulwama 2019 attack has also been pinned down by the forces. The various JeM camps in the valley and the associated leadership have been squashed by the deployed military. This is a proof to government’s effort in eradicating terrorism.
Apart from these, the Modi government has gone down strong on defaulters that have caused disruption on the national level. The Modi government has recently with the help of the United Kingdom Government been able to extradite the PNB scam accused Neerav Modi. The Goverment has also put behind bars the Kingfisher giant Vijay Malya.
