Recently, Air Vistara shared a picture of its crew with war hero Major General GD Bakshi. However, the tweet did not go down well with the ‘liberal’ crowd on the twitter and several ‘prominent’ liberals called for the boycott of Air Vistara. Following the bullying by the liberal herd, Air Vistara deleted the tweet.
General GD Bakshi is a war veteran who is also the recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal for commanding a battalion in the Kargil War. He is from the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles of the Indian Army. GD Bakshi is the younger brother of Captain Raman Bakshi, who was the martyr in 1965 India-Pakistan War at the young age of 23 years.
The removal of the post shows how Vistara was bullied by the liberal crowd. Actors like Swara Bhaskar made fun of the picture and even called GD Bakshi an embarrassment. She later went on to retweet calling the war hero a ‘foul mouth bigot’. The actress seems to have no respect for the ex-army man and even the Indian Armed forces. Such comments by pretentious liberals have led to Vistara pulling down the photo and the tweet.
GD Bakshi is a National Embarassment! But this is 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 @AbhinandanSekhr https://t.co/cW0SjtnFjo

Vistara issued a letter regarding the post, stating that the platform had no intension to hurt anyone’s feelings and be disrespectful to anyone. However the particular act of bringing down a post that honoured a veteran war hero does disrespect the army man and the Indian armed forces. After the post was removed twitter was filled with users who posted “#BoycottVistara” for its disrespectful act of removing a post that honoured GD Bakshi.
The liberal media took to twitter for expressing their anger over Vistara, journalist Rohini Singh also tweeted stating that she would now take the rival Indigo airlines instead of flying Vistara because they had put a picture of their crew members with GD Bhakshi. The airlines succumbed to the pressure on twitter and decided to completely shun the controversy by removing the post.
Dear @airvistara. Thank you for the warning. Will take @IndiGo6E instead from now on. https://t.co/NtnyV74RyY

This is an insult to the Indian Armed forces which dedicate their service in protecting the citizens of the nation. The liberal brigade is ready to even bully corporate giants to establish their agendas. They do not care about the glory that people like GD Bakshi has brought to the nation. In the past too, GD Bakshi had received constant hate by the liberal media because of his nationalist view. It is to believe that those with patriotic and nationalist feeling are target of insults and mockery by the liberal brigade. While the “Twitter Liberals” have achieved in their efforts of forcing Vistara to remove the post, a good number of journalist and twitter users have started the campaign of boycotting the airlines until it restores the tweet back on twitter.
