The terrorist country is in for some more embarrassment even as contradictory claims about the role of the Jaish-e-Mohammed in Pakistan have come up. Director General Inter Services Public Relations (DGISPR) reportedly claimed, “Jaish-e-Muhammed does not exist in Pakistan. It has been proscribed by the United Nations and Pakistan also. Secondly, we are not doing anything under anybody’s pressure.” This statement has come amid increasing pressure on Pakistan to crack down on terror factories being raised on its soil but Musharraf said something very different..
In fact, Pakistan has been continuously trying to claim that there are no terror factories on its soil and that it intends to have peaceful relations with India. It has altogether denied the presence of terror groups on its soil. However, former Pakistan President, Parvez Musharraf has now spilled the beans on the lies being shamelessly propagated by the Pakistan military. Musharraf has admitted on a Pakistani news channel that the Jaish e Mohammed had carried out terror attacks in India. He revealed that even the Pakistani intelligence was involved during his tenure and that attacks were carried out in India “in a tit-for-tat response to the attacks in Pakistan by the Indian intelligence.” The former President also went on to claim that the Jaish-e-Mohammed had attempted to assassinate him in 2003.
What Musharraf has revealed about the Jaish-e-Mohammed not only exposes the Jaish-ISI bonhomie, but also highlights that the DGISPR was lying through his teeth. Jaish-e-Mohammed has always been active in the terrorist country.
The fact that outfits like Jaish-e-Mohammed is not only present in Pakistan but also control the terrorist country becomes evident from the fact that Jaish e Mohammed (JeM) chief, Masood Azhar had openly warned the Pakistan government of not taking any action against him after the Pulwama terror attacks had resulted in outrage against Pakistan. An official tracking Pakistan terror had said, “There are approximately 15-20 Pakistani terrorists and 20-25 local JeM terrorists in the areas around Pulwama. They are currently on the run. We hope to get the main commanders soon. Azhar also fears that the Pakistan government, coming under pressure, may be forced to act against him. So he is threatening his own government with consequences.”
After this development, the Pakistan Army has come out denying the fact that Jaish-e-Mohammed even exists in Pakistan. Pakistan has clearly succumbed to the pressure and influence exerted by the terror outfit. Pakistan had created terror organisations like JeM but the state is now incapable of dealing with them or controlling them. Pakistan has essentially become a state which is being actively controlled by the terror outfits active in the country.
